Off Limits is great show on the Travel Channel hosted by Don Wildman where he explores places that are off limits to the general public. They've done places in New York, Seattle, LA and several other and every episode I've seen gas been excellent.
Abandonded is a show I caught a few weeks ago, I think, on the History Channel, but then haven't seen listed again. It's kind of Off Limits meets American Pickers. A guy and his two buddies go to abandoned places and try to pick things (after getting permission and paying a fee). The one I saw they picked the Scranton Lace Factory which I guess the worlds largest producer of lace at the turn of the century. He basically was allowed take whatever he could carry out and it was loaded with stuff.
Neither of these shows seemed as staged as some of the reality-type shows we've discussed on here.
