1. Its really not that bad and idk why the school would censor it
2. For the people questioning how parents could let her wear that.....do you think this girl would wear a 1 piece and a tshirt to the pool in the summer? If not, then the bikini she undoubtedly wears is 100% more revealing than that picture

5 student editors voted unanimously to not allow the photo and asked her to submit a different photo. The school said she could use the photo for her senior ad (where businesses or family members buy space and wish a graduating senior congratulations). Girl in the photo feels that the administration pressured the editors to not allow it, though the editors deny being pressured and say it was completely their decision.

I don't really see why this is an issue. Just submit another photo, if you have one where you are wearing more clothes...

Well, except for her stated interests providing a motive for pursuing it further...
She says the picture, which she calls “artistic,” is a good representation of her personality because she’s interested in modeling and photography.

Apparently that portfolio isn't getting enough looks.

Those sound like parents that know the role of woman. Putting a kitchen in her room, excellent idea.

This. They told her the pic wasn't approved and gave her the chance to submit another one. Either submit another pic or don't have your pic in the yearbook.

I see no issue with her actually taking the picture, but she should not be surprised the school will not allow it in the yearboook. Schools have a dress code and I am willing to bet they wouldn't allow her to walk the halls in that outfit. Why should they allow her to appear in the yearbook that way?

Take whatever senior pictures you want, but pick one that is acceptable to submit.

lol, I love how everyone is acting like a girl taking a picture like this makes her a slut or a future porn star. If that's true, I'd bet the vast majority of teenage girls are future porn stars.
