I just want footwedge to know, I picked the tribe to suck ass this year, along with with Lowe. Thus I'm right, a genius and know all.

Foot what teams do you have the browns beating this year. The schedule is so hard that while they have improved I can't see them winning more then 4 games. They could easily start out 0-6 before playing Indy.

Might want to lay off the roids. The roid rage towards me is getting to be a bit much. Maybe you will have another mood swing and quit the forum again.

Perhaps , but I still won't be a flip flop bandwagon fan...I'm not the only one who sees your passive aggressive trolling, bandwagon.

Thanks for steering this thread back on course. The BS is annoying.

I don't know who they will beat. But I do think they go at least 3 and 3 in their division. Right now the public thinks they blow. The public picked the Niners to go 2-14 last year as well. The only thing that changed with Frisco of significance was their coaching staff...and they stayed incredibly healthy.

Coaching, coaching, coaching. Gotta have it in pro football...more than any other sport.

Winning begets winning. In 03, the Browns were picked to be basement dwellers too. That year, the Browns should have beaten Pittspuke in the playoffs. Thank you Dennis Northcutt. Before that season, there appeared to be very few winnable games.

When you stink, the competition looks unbeatable. When you're good, everybody becomes beatable.

The Browns don't have coaching. If your best hope for the Browns doing well is "every year a shitty team comes out of nowhere to surprise everyone" then you pretty much have no substance to your prediction.

Childress? And a couple others. And I do buy into the excuses last year on missing some training because of the BS. It's hard for a new staff first year, especially with a non existant receiving corp. I think Shurmer will be just fine in his second year.

If you think our coaching blows, well good for you. My prediction is just that...a prediction. I don't need to justify more than I already have. If you fuckers want to embelish more shit football due to Clevelandsportsitis, have at it.

They could suck. And if the injury bug hits again, they probably will suck.

The Browns had a great draft this year. I choose to be hopeful. You fuckers that do nothing but bitch and badmouth a 35-10 Browns blowout need to visit a shrink.

Start a new negativity thread.

Honestly I'm not sure the browns win a single game in the division this year. If they do win one it will be against the Bengals who don't match up all that well against the browns. There is no way in hell they will go 3-3 in the division. You point to the draft the browns had but the Bengals and Steelers arguably had better drafts. If your relying on Childress to turn this team around it might not ever happen. The browns have improved greatly from last year but they still have glaring problems. The oline needs help the defensive line and linebackers can't stop the run. I could see the browns being 8-8 with last years schedule but not with this years.

He's just gonna magically call good plays?

Is that something that you just don't have when you're a rookie coach...kinda grows overnight in between your first and second year?

The schedule is not that tough for God sake. They should be no worse than 4 at 5 at the break. Somehow you think the Browns can't beat Pittsburgh and Baltimore? Give me a break. This is the NFL. Anybody can win on any Sunday, especially if they are healthy and are coached well.

Yeah...the team had all those weapons last year on offense didn't they? And why is Childress here? Whether he calls the plays or not, the offensive scheme and game plan is drawn up by the OC.

And by the way S /L I've got a cool hun saying the Nats win their division. Wanna put your money where your pie hole is? PM me and we'll get the "deal" done.

This team fought down to the wire against the all three division opponents in 5 of the 6 games. They could've just as easily been 5-1 in the division as 0-6.

I disagree that the Steelers had a better draft. Decastro is stuggling/complaining about the "physical aspect" of the game and Mike Adams is a matador, so far. I'm not as big a Decastro fan as some on here. I think Cincy got the better guard in Zeitler. Not sure how much better Roethlisberger will have it this year either with the O-Line. Plus, Roethliseberger is already dinged up, they have injury issues at RB and Harrison just had his knee scoped. Not to mention a disgruntled WR. I could see an injury filled year for an aging Steeler team. Not saying Pittsburgh is going to be a bottom feeder but there's a definite "chink" in that armor.

I agree that the Bengals had a better draft though.

With the Ravens/Steelers issues, they CAN be beaten this year and the fact that the Browns don't face Pittsburgh until later in the year, I like the Browns chances of becoming a cohesive unit by then. While in the same breath, Polamalu and some of the Steelers key players are usually nursing injuries by then.

Adding Carlos Rogers and Aldon Smith was insignificant huh? 2 of the 3 key pieces (along with the emergence of Navorro Bowman) that took San Fran from middle of the pack to a top 3 defense in the NFL.

If the Browns added the equivalent of 14 sacks and a top 10 corner in the NFL to their team this offseason, then sure they could be decent. Everyone knew San Fran had talent. Pretty much the only question with them was Alex Smith. The Browns have about 17 different questions.

So they added 2 players. BFD. Every team adds players. At the beginning of the season last year the Niners were picked to be a pile of dung. And the "experts" knew about these "key people" before the season started.

Nice reach.

lol. They added a lot more than 2 players. Those were 2 pro bowl caliber players. Very few teams do that in 1 offseason.
