That's where he'd be going...37th pick or in that vicinity. Browns don't have Tannehill or Weeden at a 1st round grade but they have Weeden graded higher. For as much as people keep saying it, I don't see a team with a QB need between 23-36 that would take Weeden.DeyDurkie5;1151616 wrote:It's going to happen.
I don't think they will. Blackmon, RT/RB with the 2nd first round pick. If Weeden falls to their 2nd round pick, then maybe I could see that.
I could see WR/RB @4, WR/RB (whichever wasn't taken @4) @ 22, Weeden @37 (or around there) and RT with the 3rd.
Somehow I doubt it plays out with 4 straight offensive picks though even though they need it.

If the Browns get a package bigger than last years package I would be pissed if they turned it down. A quick way to build up a team with many needs is to make multiple picks in the first two rounds. I don't know if you guys realize this, but the team has a lot of needs. The only players I would turn down the offer this draft would be Luck and RG3. Other than those 2 I don't see any players contributing to their team as well as last years top 4 picks did, except maybe Kalil.
Last years trade was so much better than drafting Julio Jones who already seems injury prone.

If they take Blackmon I think it justifies them taking Weeden more than if they were to take Richardson. I'm hoping the first three picks are RT, WR, RB in some order.

Long way to go from Cromarties 12 kids.

Agreed! If you have a high first round like the Browns do and you can't get a true difference maker, it would be a shame if the Browns didn't keep accumulating picks.like_that;1151630 wrote:...

Right now it sure sounds like they are happy with what will be available at 4.

That's what I'm hoping for if they don't trade down.

I knew that would jump out at you. He's 1/3 of the way there and is just about to begin his pro career. And with the money and fame that's coming to him...I wouldn't count Jenkins out just yet.

4 to 12 is just one good season. Eight road games, eight kids. If he's a first-rounder with all that $$$, that's very doable.like_that;1151632 wrote:Long way to go from Cromarties 12 kids.

Excuse me while I LMAO. So since Jenkins played at florida for one yr while Haden was there, he'd be a boy scout in the pros? Thats a joke, come on ishelp, you're smarter than that.lhslep134;1151609 wrote:LOL
I think Jenkins is a better cover corner than Cromartie and think his character concerns would be less worrisome playing alongside his buddy Haden.

Why? If that even made a tiny bit of sense then why isn't the Redskins trying everything they can to draft Wright? Why aren't the Colts trying to get Luck's favorite target? Why wasn't Crabbtree's QB drafted? Its a total fail argument and hold ZERO water.Y-Town Steelhound;1151631 wrote:If they take Blackmon I think it justifies them taking Weeden more than if they were to take Richardson. On a more serious note, is there any concern regarding a potential suspension for Scott Fujita?

That's strange because a lot of mocks have the Colts taking Coby Fleener ( one of Luck's favorite targets).Commander of Awesome;1151711 wrote:Why? I would prefer at #4:
1) Richardson
2) A trade down not past #9
3) Claiborne

This would be the Browns luck. Instead of trade raping the Rams, they would rape us twice...

If they gave up the #33 and #6 for the #3 would that be enough for Minnesota?BR1986FB;1151767 wrote:This would be the Browns luck. Instead of trade raping the Rams, they would rape us twice...

...and would the net of that be less than what the Browns offered for the #2?

Yup, that's my style. What is considered way down? Just like last year? If the package is bigger hell yeah. We are looking at a first rounder next year( maybe another first rounder????) and also a second rounder next year on top of the picks for this year.
I don't see how anyone here would be opposed to having 3 years in a row with 2 first rounders. I know this scenario is wishful thinking though.

I don't see it happening. The rams have more needs than a running back
