my response, Saints will make the playoffs every year, Shurmur will never be going to the playoffs
DeyDurkie5 is going to be upset when he hears he owes BR1986 a steak dinner already.

If you would like me to lower my vocab to a Jr. High level in order for you to comprehend my tweet, then yes I will.

I'm not a fan on him at any spot. I've watched him play since he started at Mich St and I've never thought he was good. I don't see it at all. Dude is just bad. I'd rather have no QB and go into this season with McCoy than draft him. Even in the 4th I'm not a fan of him.

Not a fan. I don't really see an upgrade from McCoy, in arm strength, myself.

Yeah. When at MSU, I never really thought he was much more than a quality game manager in college football. What the hell happened to make him an upper-round selection in the pros.

Eddie Munster's (Kiper) latest mock has Richardson @ 4, Cordy Glenn @ 22 and Weeden @ 37

Don Bank's mock (don't see Floyd falling that far)...

If he does, I will take it. It's looking more and more like we are going to get Richardson. So if thats the case, Id be happy with Richardson/WR/OT or Richardson/OT/WR with the first 3 picks. FUCK WEEDEN.

If he doesn't win the QB competition in training camp he'd be the starter after the bye week. :D

The fact that he would have to compete with McCoy tells me enough about him.

Haha...well played. I still think his arm could help open up the offense.

I really don't like picking a RB so high, but if Richardson is the choice, I think he can open up the offense. Let's not forget hillis was a complete POS last season and didn't give us anything. The season before, when he was running at his best, the offense seemed pretty effective, even the passing game (if Delhomme wasn't passing).

I thought that too, and still want Richardson, but if the QB position stays "static', what's going to change? Defenses will now sell out for the run (8 in the box again because T-Rich will be the biggest offensive threat) and dare #12 to beat them over the top. Same old, same old. If you have a QB with at least the "threat" of a cannon, it's going to loosen up things along the LOS.
