They need some serious speed at the position and the guys YPC were ridiculous.

I hope Kolb becomes available. We better take a legit look at him and possibly sign him. He has shown flashes that he can get it done. And he is an upgrade over Mccoy

Im warming up to the idea of trent / blackmon at 4 hill / wright at 22 and best available at 37.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the article QB position isn't even used for a fan vote. What does that tell you?
When that article ran they had not yet polled about QBs, which is why it wasn't listed. When they did Couch was voted #1 followed by Kelly Holcomb.

You can see them all at this link: http://www.cleveland.com/wfny/index.ssf/2012/02/the_best_browns_players_since_4.html#incart_mce

Would love to bring him back, but highly doubt it. I'm afraid we already signed our DE FAs.

What is troubling is that unless they add a few more pieces on the offensive side of the ball in FA AND they decide to roll with McCoy, this team WILL be worse than last year. As of now, they have gotten WORSE at RB (Hillis departure), O-Line (Steinbach, Pashos gone) and haven't added any WR's. If Heckert plans to surround McCoy with rookie receivers, more rookie O-Linemen and a rookie feature RB, it will be a VERY long 2012 season. They are creating holes and doing nothing in FA to fill any of these voids.

What makes you think the Browns would be interested in Kolb now when they weren't the first time around BEFORE his abysmal attempt at a starting gig?

Tom Withers ‏ @ twithersAP
# Browns expected to make a few moves today, re-sign Patterson, release another player on defense.

If Fujita is getting lumped in with the head-hunting investigation in New Orleans, I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone.

Fujita counts toward $4.5 mill on the cap, I believe.

We signed 2 DE's so I would expect Mitchell to get the door. How much does he count against the cap?

Here's a "gem" from our local Browns "insider"...

Mary Kay Cabot‏ @ MaryKayCabot I can barely recall LBT (life before twitter) but I have a vague sense of more laughter, more fruity drinks, more singing into my hairbrush

Just did a little research about Tim Couch.

Did you know that he continually tried to "comeback" after the Browns released him? He tried with the Packers, Bengals, Jaguars, Bears, Titans, Texans, Dolphins, and Steelers. He also got banned by the NFL for use of illegal steroids and hgh. They said when he tried out for the Jaguars, he had put on 35 lbs of pure muscle and was only 4% bodyfat.

That pick was a joke. From what I heard, Policy sounded like the NFL's version of Hitler thinking he could push a "blond haired, blue eyed QB" off on the fans and we'd buy into it....
