A little consistancy from or D wouldn't hurt any either. I would agree that many teams ran because they simply didn't have to pass. I do love this time of year when we are all full of hope and intrigue about what this year will bring to the browns fans! I can sense the bitterness of past pain in some of these posts, LOL. I just want to take it one step at a time, what I mean is I want this team to simply be a gamer. I don't want teams looking at us pre season and just marking a "W", we need to at least get respectable first. Win a few close ones and not make a mistake to give the game away. Establish a "respectable' running game, make a few plays on offense and at least put up a fight on defense. I am not looking for a new team (although I wouldn't mind) but right now a step to the good would be just fine with me. My father in law is from Pittburgh and a fan so one win this year agains the steelers would help mend some of my broken bones! ;) LOL, Lets go Brownies!!!!

Miava took all of Gocong's snaps today. Yikes. I hope we can pick up some other team's scraps as the preseason continues.

after practice colt mccoy cried to the media, saying along the lines when we started camp i thought it was going to be a competition but i (as in colt) never received snaps with the first team. its unclear if he will ask for a trade.

Im sure the bolded part has something to do with Weeden tearing the Browns secondary up... Just saying.

thats what i'm saying. if he honestly thought there was going to be a real qb competition, he is dumber than I thought. but I'm seeing it tweeted by mary kay and pro football talk how is is QQ over not getting a fair shot. colt you've had two years to prove yourself and in camp this year, its not like you are airing it out and taking chances you're still captain check down, fucking let it fly, what are you going to lose? 2nd string? get over yourself, you WOULD NOT start for any other team in NFL.

Read this part and thought it was your impressions. Shocked to see that he actually said that. Coming out of college all we heard was he is a class act. Since then there's been a lot of QQ'ing from him and his family. Guess true colors come out in tougher times...

As far as the McCoy thing...meh. Appreciate the service he gave the team. Wasn't dealt the best "hand" but you've got to do something with the cards you're dealt. Not an NFL starter but I think he might be a solid "change of pace" backup/spot starter. Yeah, it comes across as QQing but I'm not gonna pile on. That ship has sailed. It's Weeden's time....
