Yeah, I mean I agree with that. But you can go on about that in many games. My point was, 1st half IU had the advantage the last 2 minutes and took advantage. 2nd half OSU had the advantage and didnt...in fact IU did more with less.

There aren't many games in which William Buford has found himself in foul trouble(4 fouls with 16 minutes left in the game), primarily because defense is not his point of focus on a basketball court. There are also not many games that Buford, Sullinger, and Thomas would play a combined total of 29 1st half minutes.

Bottom line is that none of the OSU players played particularly well, and yet they still had a chance to win. Yes, the officiating was poor, but as someone mentioned earlier, they need to learn to overcome it and play above it. I need to see us win on the road, against a quality opponent, before I'm convinced that this is an elite team.

And maybe they will. That doesn't change the impact that the poor officiating had on this game.

There are no elite teams. Quality road victories are not the the norm.Which team has the best road win this year??

I get that, so let me rephrase...before I'm convinced that they are a Final Four, or even an Elite Eight team.

No, but you can go on about things LIKE that in any game. Not the exact situation. But for instance, there was a terrible call in the Indiana - Evansville game. Should have been Indiana ball, but wasnt. Evansville player was fouled on the inbound....twice and then they ended up with a lay-up. It was a bad call, but Indiana has to be able to not commit to fouls on inbound passes and not give up a lay-up after the poor officiating.

Should have been Indiana ball, but wasnt. Evansville player was fouled on the inbound....twice (once Zeller and once Watford) Both players come out, and then they ended up with a lay-up because of poor defending by Pritchard and Elston. Are you convinced that some team out there is a lock for the elite 8 or Final Four?

I will concede your point when it is based on 1 terrible call. I believe there multiple horrendous calls in the 1st half of the OSU-vs-Indiana game.

Ok, but Buford only had 1 bad call against him. The whole point you made was HE was on the bench. Oladipo isnt guarding Thomas or Sully, so that doesnt matter. It only matters than Craft was on the floor and Oladipo on him instead of Buford. One call.

From Mark Titus:Instead of bitching about 50/50 calls that went against the Buckeyes or complaining about no-calls that didn't affect the game,[SUP]5[/SUP] I'll just list two calls that had a huge impact on the game and were inexcusably horrendous. There were other terrible calls — such as Jared Sullinger's third foul and all of Will Buford's fouls away from the ball — but these were the two that no sane Indiana fan can dispute, and these were the two that made me wonder what exactly it takes to be a college basketball referee........http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7428690/titus-top-12-ncaa-power-rankings

Still?

The game is over. It was horrendously officiated. IU benefited more than OSU, everyone agrees.

Just get over it, the refs had nothing to do with it.

Your opinion is worthless.

No, the refs let the players decide the game and Brandon Paul decided it.

On Sunday the refs let the players decide the game and the Buckeyes decided it.

Pretty simple stuff.

As for the refs in the Duke game.......OSU and especially Sully benefitted from calls.

You fucking hypocrite.
