Jerrod Cherry made a great point on KNR this week.

Pat Shurmur is among the safest coaches in the NFL as far as job security.

If the play calling is this conservative when he has nothing to lose or worry about, what in the world is it going to be like when there is actually some pressure and expectation on him and the offense?

Discipline needs to be a huge emphasis this off season. So many bad penalties at extremely inopportune times. Has hampered this team all season.
