It is an opinion, I am not asking anyone to justify why they think a group is great or try to convince anyone else that that group is the greatest; just asking who in your opinion is the greatest. Buckethead is a very good guitarist, but there is many MANY that are much more skilled IMO. And I am a HUGE Buckethead fan, but guys like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, Eric Johnson, John Petrucci, Jason Becker (when he could still pick up a guitar), etc. have much more skill than Brian Carrol aka Buckethead. Fair enough though I still disagree (yay opinions!). I love Deja Entendu but I think that their writing and instrumentation had progressed a lot in between Deja and TDAG. I think they are overrated as a band. I never did see what was so great about them, they had a couple of good songs back in their day but so did the Rolling Stones and many more bands. I don't think anyone can claim to be the greatest band ever, because people like different types of music and fans of hard rock and heavy metal would not consider the Beatles better than Zeppelin or AC/DC for example, but the same would be expected from country music fans, they would not consider Zeppelin or AC/DC better than one of their cowboy groups either.Mulva;1028361 wrote:The Beatles are the greatest band ever.
