The Massillon combine is getting a lot of national attention. Massillon tried out over 1,200 kids. Almost all of the kids at the combine were underclassmen (contrary to what skank claimed would happen at the combine). With trying out all of these kids, I fully expect Massillon to easily win their first state title next year. It would be a major upset if anyone can beat them next year.

The bet I proposed about whether the combine was for hs or college kids? It looks like you are denying that you said it was for college kids anyway. At least you are now able to see that Massillon is bringing in high school underclassmen with their combine.

Here is my comment when you offered the bet about underclassmen attending.

No I'm not because I know there will be underclassmen there, always have been. I never said there wasn't. So you can continue to use whatever ignorant signature/avatar you want, I could care less. Again, you seem really concerned with the combine here in Massillon, if it bothers you so much, maybe you should contact Nike and voice your concerns. Or therapy, maybe therapy would be the better option.

I know at some point you said it was for college, but it looks like you have changed your mind, and you are going with the correct concept that Massillon is hosting underclassmen at their combine. The practice is creating a huge divide within the Massillon fan base. Which side of the controversy do you fall on? Are you in favor of trying to bring in the top talent from other programs (a practice that has led to Massillon never winning a state title)? Or are you in favor of building a team from the lower levels on up (a practice that is used by teams that have won multiple state titles)?

I take it you do not accept my wager. Anyway, you are correct, those schools that consistantly win, are the one's who attend the middle school combines.

Why so angry anyway, hell, at the beginning of the debate, you were more adament about parochials recruiting than anyone.

Your exact quote was, "how can publics compete with these parochial recruiting machines?" So why the change of heart?

Show me an example (either private or public) of another school that has anything close to the combine the size that Massillon had last week. Massillon has their pick of the top talent from multiple states. The problem is that championship teams are not built that way. Every year Massillon reminds me of what the Philadelphia Eagles did last year when they assembled the dream team. Massillon's version of the dream team didn't even make the playoffs in one of the historically weakest regions in the state.
