I really want to somehow get Barnes and lamb. That would be absolutely amazing. And could end up being the 2 best players in this draft. I don't think lamb lasts till 10 though. We would have to find a trade partner near 6-7

That'd be a great haul, but probably a more realistic one may be Barnes and Tony Wroten. Wroten is a 6'5" combo guard that is a good athlete, defender, creator of offense but currently has a horrendous outside jumper. He would give the Cavs a 2nd guy that could create offense for others and get a shot for himself late in the clock.

I think a draft of Barnes and Wroten would be very intriguing. Wroten's weakness is he currently has an awful jumper, but can get to the basket with ease. Barnes' weakness is that many are questioning his ability to create his own shot, but with Kyrie and Wroten on the floor with him he wouldn't be asked to do much of that. Wroten could also play some minutes with the second unit running the offense, which would add to his value.

Wroten is a PG in the NBA in my opinion.

He has point guard skills no doubt. But I think he has the ability and size to play the 2, and in Scott's system where he likes both guards to handle the ball, get in transition and run the offense I think he would be a good fit.

Very good point. Scott's Princeton offense utilizes 2 guards who can handle the ball and score.

wet dream scenario for me would be taking jeremy lamb at 4, then moving back into the late lottery and taking perry jones III if he was available

Perry Jones and Harrison Barnes are two players I really would like to stay away from. Both have had big names/hype in college, but showed me nothing really..huge lack of consistency.

i think Barnes would benefit a lot from having a good pg that can get into the lane. Jones on the other hand is a giant risk.

Last 18 games of Barnes college career. Where's the inconsistency? Did you even watch UNC play?

Didn't Barnes play with Kendall Marshall, one of the top PGs in the country?

Yeah, I think most people would. I know Barnes and Kyrie are close and I think that's important to the front office. I could easily see him being the guy at #4, I'm still hoping for MKG.

I really like Royce White, I saw him a couple times and and was very impressed. I watched him play Kentucky and he destroyed Terrence Jones. I would be alright with the Cavs taking him at 24

Yeah, so? Barnes would hypothetically be playing with a potential superstar PG in the NBA.

I will be fine with Barnes if that means we get Lamb too.

I want MKG AND Lamb or Barnes AND Lamb :D

I'd take Lamb over Barnes honestly. Higher PPG and a better shooter.

Royce White also has terrible anxiety over travel, supposedly canceling a workout for the Warriors because of it. If he didn't have these issues, he is a potential top 10 pick. Could be a huge risk/reward pick depending if he can overcome or at least deal with his anxiety.

Barnes tourney this year without Marshall worries me.

In the two games without Marshall he had a couple weak performances.

Against OU he had 12 points on 3-16 shooting
Against Kansas he had 13 points on 5-14 shooting

Yeah, he's also had some problems off the court.

I think the kid has a ton of talent, needs to work on his jumper

I agree with you, these reports of Cavs picking Barnes are premature IMO.

I don't understand this argument. We all agree that KI is better than Marshall right? And we must assume KI will be playing in 95% of the games HB plays in right? So by that logic HB should be fine since he has a PG with him. If anything we are the perfect situation for him.

Did Kyrie play 95% of the games this season? Bad assumption.
I want somebody who can play just as well without Kyrie. Not another spot up shooter who feeds off of Kyrie's penetration. We have the #4 pick..lets not mess this up.

Ok 85%

And look at Lamb. He was a hell of a lot better last year with Walker than this year
