I must say I will be keeping an eye on Andre Drummond. I watched Perry Jones play several times last year and he never stood out to me. I had to look several times to make sure he was even in the game. I watched a Baylor game earlier this week and still didn't even notice him on the court.
Depending on how much earlier this year, Perry Jones may not have been on the floor. He didn't play this year until November 28th.

I am not as excited about Barnes as some are. He has good size and strength to play the wing in the NBA. But he isn't an elite NBA athlete, and as others have said doesn't show that he can create his own shot. In high school, he played more as a post, so the fact that he strokes the 3 as well as he does is impressive. Maybe those other wing skills will develop. I wouldn't be upset if he is the Cavs pick this year, I just would be more excited with Drummond, Davis, Lamb or Kidd-Gilchrist.

Also, hope the Kings make the playoffs so we have another first round pick this year.

Who is expected to go #1 overall? Perry Jones?

It looks like either Andre Drummond or Anthony Davis. Obviously there are a couple guys that could have big seasons to over take them. Perry Jones has the skill set to be one of those guys.

Am I the only one who would like to see Sullinger on the Cavs? I think he will be in the draft since he promised Matta to stay for two years.

Love Sullinger, but not on the Cavs. They just drafted Tristan Thompson, who is a 4. Sullinger is a 4. This team needs either a scoring wing or a center.

That's why I think we go either Drummond, lamb, barnes or mkg

I dont see Thompson being anything more than a bench guy. I would have no issue with Sullinger though I hope we're drafting higher than where he'll be taken. I'd rather get a wing 2/3 than a 4.

Anthony Davis would be tempting if we got the #1 overall

Him at the 5, Thompson 4, Irving 1

That's a good core

Davis is a little light to be a 5, probably better suited to be a 4 like KG. Drummond is a legit prospect as a 5.

I either want an athletic freak to play the 3 or a Stud center to play the 5. Book it!

I agree. If Drummond is as good as many scouts think then the Cavs probably need to move on him. I've heard quite a few people make the Dwight Howard comparison, sounds good to me

Yeah. I think he will fill out a little bit though, the kid hasnt grown into his body yet. He was a 6'2-6'3 guard last year and now hes close to 7'0. Get him in a NBA weight room with some coaches and I bet he could add some weight.

Drummond is a Thabeet-type bust IMO. Guy had something like 1 point and 1 rebound the other day. Personally I hope they target Barnes or Lamb.

Cavs definitely need to add a scoring wing. Once they get that, they'll be fine. We'll see how good Thompson is though?

9 games and we already know that about Drummond? Wow. Perry Jones had 0 pts and 1 board in 2 less minutes than Drummond did in the game you are referring to. This was Jones' 12th career game. I do think that Drummond needs to improve somewhat and I think as the season goes that he will start to show why he was rated so high coming out of HS.

Thabeet has been a bust and as a long time UConn fan, that pains me to say. I thought he would make a living off his defense and develop halfway decent offensive skills. Not happening.

I disagree 100%. Thompson has a chance to become a 15/10 type of PF who plays elite level defense.

He will be a much better pro than Sullinger, IMO. Thompson is the guy who dominated Kanter during workouts.

Agreed he's still a little raw on his offensive game but he could be a 15&10 guy is a couple years. Kind of like a David west but a great defender

14pts for Irving in the first half
