He's "ok"... Not somebody I'm disappointed in losing...

Him not being able to practice or play, and still being about 2-3 weeks away from getting back on the court really hurt him.

If he didn't burn his foot, and was able to play, he probably makes the team.

Haha that's an understatement.

Monroe doesn't suck. His right hand is abysmal, but he's a solid player. Good touch and he's a very good passer with a great basketball IQ.

He averaged 14 and 10 in 25 games after the all-star break last season as a rookie, with 4.3 offensive boards per game in that stretch (only Kevin Love was better). Not a great athlete, maybe never going to be an all-star, but he's a solid 15/10 guy for a long time in my opinion.

I bet Manny will turn out like Shannon Brown.

Shit in Cleveland, go somewhere else and be serviceable.

I think manny harris could def make somebodys rotation. Hes got good size for a guard and is an all around player

I'd like to see the Cavs pick up Mickael Pietrus and cut Gee or Thompson. I think he could fill the Anthony Parker role for a few years going forward. I'd say he's a slightly better defender and a much worse passer than AP. Not a starter by any means, but a serviceable rotation player (and definitely better than Gee). Solid, athletic defender and a good 3 point shooter, even though that's all he can do offensively.

Not that he'd be interested at all (rumors he'll be a Celtic), but I'd like to see it.

I agree as long as it was for 1 or 2 years.

As you mentioned, he's probably going to Boston. Or at least a "contender."

Count me in as another who thinks Harris will do well somewhere else. I thought he showed flashes of potential last season. But like others have said, the time missed from the burn is what sealed his fate. Can't believe Mychel Thompson made the team. Worst player in the NBA?

The Cavs can still re-sign Manny when he's available for return.

Irving is getting the nod as starter. Good move, Byron.

They did a groupon deal on a bunch of seats, giving a discount if you bought tix for both this and the Miami game.

Due to a lack of planning, half of the arena will still be in line at will call to claim said seats at tipoff.

GTFO.

It's not going to happen, but if somehow the Cavs made the playoffs or even contended for a playoff spot, this season would be a failure.

We need to suck and stockpile picks/young talent.

If the Cavs can't beat the Raptors at home, could be a long season

Actually the season will be short. Only 66 games.

LOL.

Why is it going to be a "long" season?

I'm pretty sure we all knew and hoped we sucked. We need another lottery pick (or two)

The only thing I care about is the continual development of Kyrie, Tristan, and even Omri.

I know they aren't expected to be any good, but the Raptors are one of the worst in the league. You would hope they would be able to at least beat them at home you know.

I don't really care what happens with the Cavs for the next 2 seasons. We won't be good, and it'll take maybe another 3-4 seasons before we'll have a good enough core to be championship caliber.

Also really impressed with TT. He's going to be an absolute beast.

Tristan has been pretty good tonite. Unfortunately, can't say the same for Irving.

It's typical for a PG to have an average to poor showing in their first game. Given Kyrie hasn't really played much over the last year and the shortened training camp preseason, this doesn't surprise me.

He's going to be a very good PG this season, so I'm not worried.

I am glad to see Thompson playing well though, because I loved the pick to begin with.

Irving has played terribly tonight. Hopefully he gets better.

Nope, he's a bust.
