Tristan Thompson is having a fantastic 2nd half. Once he gets comfortable and continues to develop offensively he's going to be a problem for opposing teams.

Kyrie has looked a little gassed in the 2nd half but overall I'd say he was pretty damn impressive

So we think we have main stays in TT and Kyrie... Adding Perry Jones next year would be sweeeet

I think 1 preseason game is a little early to make a judgment on mainstays.ohiobucks1;1017777 wrote:So we think we have main stays in TT and Kyrie... Adding Perry Jones next year would be sweeeet
I love Perry Jones, but I don't like him combined with TT. TT has no offensive game, and Jones is way too passive offensively. Irving can't be scoring 45 points a game. I'd rather get a natural scorer in here to ease the burden.

Natural scorer such as who? Rivers or Lamb? Somebody like that or im not sure who else is really a pure scorer at the NBA level

Doron Lamb is my homer pick for a pure scorer. Reggie Miller, part 3.

But obviously you can't take him with the first pick. If the Kings make the playoffs, I want him with their pick.

Most mocks have him going top 10 though so i doubt u get it with your 2nd 1st round pick if its in the high teens early 20sGOONx19;1018597 wrote:But obviously you can't take him with the first pick. If the Kings make the playoffs, I want him with their pick.

Either of the Lambs, Barnes, or even a guy like Brad Beal I would say are more natural scorers.Hb31187;1018585 wrote:^^

He's got the offensive skill set, I'm just not sure about the mindset. Almost too much of a team player. He's put up big numbers a couple of times already this year though, so maybe he's being more assertive.

Mock Drafts really have Doron Lamb going in the top 10? You sure that isn't Jeremy Lamb from UConn? Who by the way looks like a stud. If the Cavs can't get Drummond or Davis, I'd love to leave this draft with Lamb (UConn).Hb31187;1018711 wrote:Most mocks have him going top 10 though so i doubt u get it with your 2nd 1st round pick if its in the high teens early 20s

You also have to look at the 2 guards he is playing beside at Florida. Walker and Boynton seem to be out to get theirs, not exactly looking to get Beal his shots. A similar situation to Perry Jones last year with that gunner LaceDarius Dunn chucking everytime he touched the ball.Mulva;1018946 wrote:Either of the Lambs, Barnes, or even a guy like Brad Beal I would say are more natural scorers.

And I cant believe most mocks have Drummond going so high...he looks well..Horrible to put it nicely.

Hopefully we can keep this thread on track throughout the season...god forbid trolls actually come out for a last place team, but if that does happen everyone should just ignore and keep on subject. This is my favorite thread because I actually want information on the cavs season. If you wanted tebow information on the tebow thread you'd get Bible verses and shit.

They had a good record last preseason, and footwedge insisted they would be a playoff team based off the preseason smh.wildcats20;1022413 wrote:They haven't looked terrible either night so far.
