Looking at the standings, the Cavs are currently 9-12 with a 3-7 record over the last 10 games. I don't see the Cavs sneaking into the playoffs. ^ All around player? Lebron is the best all-around player since Oscar. And he's the best at his position. Kyrie can't be better than the best at his position, and he obviously will never rebound as well as Lebron, so he can't be a better all-around player. Lebron is Kyrie's ceiling.
And I love everything about Kyrie.

I know no Cavs fan likes Lebron, including me, but you are absolutely delusional if you want to place Kyrie anywhere near the same level as Lebron. Lebron will end his career as a top 5 player all time, Kyrie will be lucky to make more than 2 all star teams.

Really? Can't shoot free throws...check. Piss poor jump shooter...check. Won't consistently play in the low post where he could be dominant...check. Settles for jump shots intead of consistently attacking the hoop where he would also be dominant...check. Can't make said jumpshots to save his life...check. Has no "clutch gene" and will never develop one...check. Doesn't look like an "all around player" to me. Helluva "athlete" who can jump out of the gym? Not exactly FACTS you bring to the table. More like exaggerations. He is a streaky jumpshooter, not piss poor. He shoots free throws at an OK .760. He hasn't been very clutch the last couple years, but he did take a Cavs team with no other star to the NBA finals. His career averages are 27ppg/7apg/7rpg/1.7spg. That looks like a great all around player to me. Those aren't facts. Those are opinions. I guess we'll see in a few years when Kyrie is a full developed NBA player. I'd be willing to compare their career stats(aka facts) and we'll see that Lebron is heads and shoulders above Kyrie in every way. Assuming the question is RIGHT NOW, I would definitely take Kyrie. Kyrie has only scratched the surface of his talent and has many more years ahead of him. LeBron is in his prime and is at the peak of the mountain. Now I think he can stay at this peak for a few more years, but eventually the years of wear and tear his body has experienced will catch up with him. When his athleticism deteriorates, LeBron will not be near as useful as a player since he relies on it so much. I also know that a team built around LeBron is not a championship caliber team, this we have seen. I do not yet know that to be true of Irving.

#6 hasn't ever developed the clutch gene. If he hasn't by now, it's likely not going to happen. I think that Kyrie is going to have PLENTY of chances to prove whether he's clutch, whether through hitting a game winner on a drive or hitting free throws after getting fouled to win it. #6 will just settle for his jumpers.

Lebron's only "bad" season with the Cavs was his rookie season. And his rookie numbers at season completion are better than Kyrie's right now. Quit talking about the damn "clutch gene". it's something Skip Bayless made up to rationalize his hatred for Lebron. Lebron has made more game winning shots in his career than any active player except Kobe, who is another great player. I think Lebron is clutch, but its hard to talk about "game winning shots". It's so pathetic how many Cleveland fans, who for years defended Lebron's amazing 4th quarter stats in the argument against Kobe, now say he's not clutch because he doesn't know how to co-exist with another superstar in a close game in the 4th. I'm looking at you BR.
