I would rather trade for an actual player. Somebody who has shown some potential and the Cavs could use. Not essentially a 2nd round pick we will probably never see, like the foreigner we drafted this year.sleeper;1070143 wrote:Yes.

Do you mean because of his injury history? Because they're basically the same age.Hb31187;1069842 wrote:@ this point in their careers id agree with this
I think a healthy Kaman is definitely better than AV. The problem is he doesn't stay healthy.
Also, I really haven't noticed Varejao flop at all this season. I also don't think his defense has been anything special, but he's been a beast on the offensive glass and he has very good hands and footwork.

We need young talent. No team is going to give us young talent for AV. AV is not going to be useful in the window we are trying to hit with the young talent. Might as well try to get something out of him.Pick6;1070161 wrote:I would rather trade for an actual player. Somebody who has shown some potential and the Cavs could use. Varejao must have a piss poor financial manager if he has to flop for food.

Fuck Derek Fisher.
But about Kyrie, Cleveland has something special in him. If he doesnt hit the rookie wall he'll put up some impressive numbers

Derek Fisher is the dirtiest player in the NBA. Ever since the Luis Scola cheapshot, he'll forever be known as Kobe's dirty sidekick.Mulva;1070201 wrote:Is there anyone who doesn't hate Derek Fisher?

No, Cavs dd the right thing with it. There was nothing worth pursuing and they opted to take the cap relief instead. That's one reason out cap situation is great for next season.Pick6;1070328 wrote:yea, we've already let one of them go to waste didnt we?

I agree with whomever said that the LeBron years wouldn't have been the same without Andy. He's the kind of guy every team wants and everyone hates playing against. He might have won that Boston game with the hustle play at the end to get the ball back for us. It sounds cliche but most of what he does doesn't end up in the scorers column. And for idiots (skyhook) who think all he does is flop around they need to watch some recent Cavs games. Andy has developed into a more all-around player and the "flopping" has all but disappeared. At least not any more then any other player in the league when someone runs into them down low.

I think the announcers gave him way too much credit for that. All he did was fall on the ball. That was 90% Gee for having active hands and stripping it.grodt;1070485 wrote:He might have won that Boston game with the hustle play at the end to get the ball back for us.

Apparently you didn't listen the first time...basketball purists love Andy's game. Basketball purists ain't too crazy about a guy who throws up 30 shots a game just to lead his team in points.Skyhook79;1069821 wrote:Basketball purists love a player who flops a lot?
