do you have a box? Whenever the jackets or a local game is on 1309 the Cavs are on 1310. Its basically an added channel only used when multiple games are on fsohio.chicago510;1065752 wrote:Med school @ UC.

Omri Casspi is starting to look healthier/more comfortable. He's attacking the rim a lot more and only attempted 1 3 pointer tonight, which he made. Led the team in +/- and finished with 13/3 and only 1 TO...

Casspi looked like he saw what Gee did last night and wanted to duplicate.

Another guy to keep an eye on come draft time is Deshaun Thomas. Can score from anywhere, good defender, and would be an ideal fit for the Cavs at the 2.

Do you watch as much basketball as everyone on here combined?Y-Town Steelhound;1066161 wrote:Another guy to keep an eye on come draft time is Deshaun Thomas. Can score from anywhere, good defender, and would be an ideal fit for the Cavs at the 2.
I just need to know before I take your comment seriously. Thanks.

Ah, decent effort but I'm gonna say swing and a miss on that one. Fact is that Thomas is playing himself into the draft this season so there's a more than decent chance he'll enter. My question to you is, instead of referencing irrelevant threads can you instead actually point out what is incorrect about my statement?SportsAndLady;1066170 wrote:Do you watch as much basketball as everyone on here combined?

Where did I say anything was incorrect? I just would like to know how credible your opinion on basketball is, since we know how much football you watch and how credible that opinion is.Y-Town Steelhound;1066225 wrote:Ah, decent effort but I'm gonna say swing and a miss on that one. I just hate when college fans chime in on a pro thread and say "keep JOHN SMITH in mind..good player!" yeah, we know, but he's probably the 50th most sought after player in the Cavs' mind right now.

Lol I thought the osu homers were bad on the browns threads but holy shit. Thomas won't be drafted he's way too inconsistent. I definitely don't want him

I love D. Thomas for the Bucks. Plays a great role, can score inside, outside and in between. But I can't see him being anything better than a tweener in the NBA that comes off the bench to provide scoring. He has no position in the NBA. He isn't big enough to guard 4's and isn't quick or athletic enough to stay with NBA wings. Absolutely no way can he defend the 2 position in the NBA.Crimson streak;1066427 wrote:Lol I thought the osu homers were bad on the browns threads but holy shit. It would be nice to sign Gordon this offseason. The young core would be amazing

I dont have any illusions of Gordon being Healthy in Cleveland. Rather get a player that actually sees the floor.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I wouldn't mind them trying to add another quality center so that Andy could cut back on his minutes to some degree. I'm going to assume the Cavs draft somewhere between #8 and #11Pick6;1065739 wrote: Just thinking..what would you guys like our roster to look like next season?
I would like it to be:
Irving/Sessions
?????/Gibson
?????/Gee/Casspi
Thompson/Samuels?
Varejao/Hollins
Irving/Sessions
Bradley Beal/Daniel Gibson
Wilson Chandler(RFA)/G/Casspi
TT/Samuels
Varejao/Mahinmi(UFA)
I'd also look to move Sessions and possibly package some of our 2nd round picks (or the Kings protected #1) to get back into the first round in this draft.

Ledoosh is bitching about the way things are run in Miami (...meaning he aint the one making ALL the decisions like he did in Cleveland) and supposdly told somebody in his entourage he might consider coming back to the Cavs. Question...would you join a group of people with torches and meet him at the airport and help kill him?

Except he's not a good defender (yet, although he's much improved from last year) and he's not an NBA 2 guard.Y-Town Steelhound;1066161 wrote:Another guy to keep an eye on come draft time is Deshaun Thomas. Can score from anywhere, good defender, and would be an ideal fit for the Cavs at the 2.

I think DeShaun Thomas translates better to the NBA than he does college, but there is no way I take him in the 1st round. I think we have a couple of 2nd round picks, and if he leaves early (which he shouldn't) I'd be ok taking a flyer on hm. He could be a potential bench guy who comes off the bench to provide a big scoring spark.

I would take Lebron back in a heart beat. Anyone who says otherwise is lying or bitter

Kyrie w/ 32 points tonight in a loss to NJ
He scored 17 of the team's last 19 points, all within 2 and a half minutes

Overall he had a lack luster game. Getting stats in garbage time esp against NJ doesn't mean shit to me.

He scored 21 in the 4th and damn near brought the Cavs back. That means something to me. They ended up losing by 3

I find it hard to root against them, but we honestly need to lose these games. Not only did we lose, but NJ won.. It's a win-win.
I really want another top pick.

Nice effort by Irving. Disappointed in the Cavs though. With the stretch of opponents coming up, this is one they needed to win.

Thomas is the 33rd best sophomore according to draftexpress.com. Not sure if anyone else visits their site at all, but I am a fan of their work and they have pretty extensive profiles on college plays/foreign players.
