Lebron isn't Lebron when ****s on the line.
It kinda seemed like he was though, before he teamed up in '08 with Wade and figured out a way for them to play together. Until that point, Cavs fans (myself included) were very defensive of his ability to close out games (he led the NBA in 4th quarter scoring almost every year).

Then all of a sudden he loses it. Very strange to me.

How many titles does Lebron have? Nothing he has done makes me believe he would win a title if he were to come back.

In Cleveland, the team was built around him (bunch of spot of shooters for the most part) while he was the main handler of the ball.

In Miami, he is playing along with superstars and still hasn't won anything.

I could end up eating my words..but can you really say Lebron coming here probably after the peak of his career is going to give this team the best chance to win a championship?

Pick, I'm not sure if he would. With a core of TT, Kyrie, and hopefully a lottery pick this year, there's nothing to say that Lebron would give us the best chance of winning. IF, and only if, I knew we'd win a championship with him (obviously impossible to predict but for argument's sake imagine it's feasible) then I would want him back. Otherwise, no.

I'd agree with that.

I think the only way LeBron would even consider coming back is

a) the Heat failed to win a title, in which case I wouldn't want him back. He couldn't win with 60+ win teams and home-court advantage here, he couldn't win teaming up with Wade and Bosh in Miami, why bring him back?

b) He nears the end of his career and wants to "come home", but obviously that would be years after his potential 2014 opt out or whatever the year is, at which point he isn't going to be able to carry a team to a championship.

Don't think he's going to win a championship in Miami and then opt-out.

And I wouldn't want him back even if he did.

As I've said before, LeBron has torched his bridge with Cleveland and pissed on the ashes. Why would Dan Gilbert of all people want him back anyways?

I understand points from both sides.

However, I'd take Satan himself on the Cavs (or any Cleveland team) if it meant a title...

Hell f*cking yeah. We've been through too much heartbreak for me to care enough about one of the most selfish and douchiest people I've ever seen coming back if it means a championship.

I'm from Columbus. My parents are from Chicago. Not all of Ohio roots for the Cavs...

This is true. I believe the term is "front runner".

Miami's bigs leave a lot to be desired. Bosh is a 3 and a half...doesn't count.

He counted for 35 tonight. They suck in the post, but Bosh takes more heat (pun!) than he deserves.

Bosh was the reason the Heat won this game.

I love this Cavs team. Not much talent outside of Kyrie and T2 (who was out tonight) but they still compete in just about every game..

I hate to see them lose, but I love it at the same time. I know we need at least 1 more legit lottery pick to get this thing truly heading in the right direction.

I'd like to see Skyenga get some run. It's time to start cutting AP's minutes down to around 0 per game.

Skyenga got recalled from the D League, might see him burn some minutes soon.

If the Cavs were getting even average production from their SG/SF positions, we would probably be looking at a playoff team. Fortunately, IMO since we need another high draft pick, we are getting 29.1 points per night from the Parker, Casspi, G and Gibson quartet. G and Gibson are OK coming off the bench, but the starting duo has to be the worst in the NBA. The fact that they are winning some games and playing competitively gives some optimism that maybe the rebuild will not take as long as many predicted it would before the start of this year.
