Playing 6 of the top 19 teams in the BCS Standings, and having at least 6 games where the opponent is ranked higher than the B1G team in the BCS Standings. Probably looking at a pretty rough bowl year for the Big Ten.

Sad part is Michigan will most likely win their BCS bowl because VT is garbage, when they don't even deserve to be there.

Christ, I know no other conference has a lineup like that. 5-5 would be a great record.

Agree with all 10 picks. Definitely a tough schedule with only two non-BCS conference opponents, and one of those nearly made a BCS game.

Definitely a B1G guy here....Pretty amazing that 10 out of 12 teams are playing in bowl games. I think they'll go 5-5...teams may be ranked lower than some of their opponents, but the league was pretty balanced this year.

The Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl is ugly. Illinois v. UCLA? Seriously... both teams are on life support right now. The Bruins could wind up 6-8 after this one.

I agree VT does not deserve to be there. Zero top 25 wins, they got pasted twice by Clemson and barely beat Duke. K-State or TCU should have gotten the bowl bid.

Meant VT is garbage and will be an easy win. I don't want Michigan to play a garbage team bc I don't want them to win. Lol. Should be playing Arkansas, TCU, K-State, even Boise.

Eh...I'm a Buckeye thru and thru...my old man even recruited for Woody. He taught me that when it comes to the bowls, we are Big 10...and we root for the Big 10...even Michigan. Yeah, I know it doesn't feel right, but family is family.

Rose Bowl
(10)Wisconsin vs. (5)Oregon

-- Tough call. Everyone assumes that Wisconsin won't be able to stop Oregon...but teams in the mediocre Pac-12 have had some success this season. It's reasonable to say that Oregon will have a very tough time defending Ball and Wilson too.

Sugar Bowl
(13)Michigan vs. (11)Virginia Tech

-- God I fucking hate Michigan. Delaney set this up perfectly for them, as they would have gotten destroyed by Boise State. Virginia Tech looked like shit against Clemson, but let's be honest...any team that can defend Robinson and score 24 points can beat Michigan.

Capital One Bowl
(20)Nebraska vs. (9)South Carolina

-- Nebraska doesn't have enough of a passing game to really have a legitimate chance here. South Carolina will easily kill this offense.

Outback Bowl
(17)Michigan State vs. (16)Georgia

-- Michigan State really impressed me in the B1G Championship. Not that Georgia isn't rolling right now, but I think Michigan State has just enough.

Gator Bowl
Ohio State vs. Florida

-- Honestly Florida is just more put together right now.

Meineke Car Care Bowl
Northwestern vs. Texas A&M

-- Persa Strong!

TicketCity Bowl
(22)Penn State vs. (19)Houston

-- Penn State rolls. They have the athletes to contain Houston's offense, and should just able to run the ball on this C-USA team.

Insight Bowl
Iowa vs. (14)Oklahoma

-- Blowout.

Little Caesers Bowl
Purdue vs. Western Michigan

-- Purdue. That is all.

Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl
Illinois vs. UCLA

-- Flip a coin.

I agree but they lost the last week of the season which really hurt them. That kind of stuff only happens in the SEC.

I think Nebraska beats SC by a couple scores. They average nearly 31 points a game on offense, and while they don't have much of a passing game, they haven't really needed one most of the year. They had no problem running on some pretty good defenses. OSU, Penn State, and Michigan State.

SC's record of 10-2 benefited greatly by not having to play Alabama or LSU.

The insight bowl can't be serious.

I normally pick the B1G to win all their games, but no chance Penn State or Iowa win. No chance.

8-2
