Looks like there will be plenty of editors available for the upcoming book.

"5 years ago I began to write a book titled "Only in Orrville". I completed the first 3 chapters then just kind of lost interest. After waking up this morning and realizing just how great the Red Rider tradition is I am now inspired to complete it.".......RRN (11/13/11)

Actually, both those terms are fairly commonplace all over the web, particularly on vBulletin boards.

The more you know ...

I'm sure Maty's dinged up a little. He handles the ball on every play. It's week 15. Everyone is dinged up. I've heard his ribs are bruised. I've heard he has back spasms. I've heard his hip is injured. I'm sure he'll be 100% come Saturday

If you see Big Larry tell him the new Commissioner was at the game, not as the Commish but as a Bobcat fan, and he will probably shed a tear.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of Kenton supporters on this thread, so I will add my 2 cents. I am sure that the "Bob"cats have a fine team and have had a great year. But I believe that they will find themselves out of their league against the "Wild"cats. Having watched Mauk mature as a ball player over the last four years, he really is "The Real Deal". You can't appreciate how good he is until you see him in person. His accuracy is amazing and his football instincts are at a different level from most high school quarterbacks. He has taken some hard hits this playoff season, while dishing out some of his own. And his supporting cast isn't bad either. They are very athletic and will wear you down. Very few play both ways so they don't have the fatigue factor that a lot of lower division teams have. They have had a tough playoff season and have seen almost every defense imaginable this year and have managed to overcome all of them, including the defending state champs.

I am looking forward to the "Cat fight" that will be the game on Saturday, but I am predicting the score as:

Kenton 54
Norwayne 42

Here's to a clean, injury free game. Good luck to both teams.

Go "WILDCATS".

I'm unfortunately from Kenton. You do not mess with Kenton fans and anything concerning this football team this year.

Its the last time they will have this success for a guaranteed 5 years and if they don't win a state title Saturday they might burn the stadium to the ground.

Know nothing about Norwayne other than they have to be good to get this far.

Kenton's defense has been borderline terrible these past two games on stopping sweeps, counters, basically anything to the outside. They will have to step their game up.

I, also see this as a high scoring game! the Bobcats will need to play error free on Sat. Offensively, the Bobcats are probably the best team ever produced by the WCAL. The Bobcat defense has some work to do on Sat. Play hard and keep the faith Bobcats!!

If Kentons perimeter run "D" is truly bad, this will be an extremely interesting game, as Norwayne can definately exploit a weak defense with it's ability to run with Wallace, The Zimmerlys and Co.

A great article in the Daily Record today about Norwayne's Lawrence Wolfe. What an amazing young man. To not only be a high school student athlete and then a father figure to his three siblings...WOW! The heck with Maty Mauk...Lawrence Wolfe is Mr. Football.

There is some truth in what you say about alot of Kenton fans but what you said about the defence being terrible makes me wonder if you have been going to the same games I have. If it wasen't for the defence we would definatly not be competing for the Championship. The only play they got burned on last week was off tackle and that was the only long gainer against them.

You must have not been at the last two games or saw them completely different than me. As much as I'd like to artificially inflate the Norwayne fan's hopes of our defense struggling, your statement is completely inaccurate. I will admit that Kenton did let Hartley gain most of their yards to the outside while shutting down the inside runs. I would give credit to their great execution of blocking and superior athletes running the ball (#28 and #4). However, against Clinton Massie, Kenton did a nice job of shutting down the outside runs. Sean Kelly and Seth Welsh especially had a number of nice tackles for loss to the outside. Seth Welsh was named the Ace Hardware player of the game....probably for his success in these plays.

I watched the highlights of the Norwayne/JM game and was impressed with Norwayne's offense and I think they will have some success on Kenton defense but will not have an anwer to stopping Kenton. The only way I see Norwayne keeping the game close is if Mauk is playing at less than 75% or if Kenton has multiple turn overs. After watching Kenton completely change their game plan against Hartley and Mauk running for 160+ yards, I just don't see Norwayne slowing Kenton down. The only way Kenton will be slowed down is by themselves.

In the end, I see Kenton winning 44-28.
