Its the last time they will have this success for a guaranteed 5 years and if they don't win a state title Saturday they might burn the stadium to the ground.
Know nothing about Norwayne other than they have to be good to get this far.
Kenton's defense has been borderline terrible these past two games on stopping sweeps, counters, basically anything to the outside. They will have to step their game up.
You must have not been at the last two games or saw them completely different than me. As much as I'd like to artificially inflate the Norwayne fan's hopes of our defense struggling, your statement is completely inaccurate. I will admit that Kenton did let Hartley gain most of their yards to the outside while shutting down the inside runs. I would give credit to their great execution of blocking and superior athletes running the ball (#28 and #4). However, against Clinton Massie, Kenton did a nice job of shutting down the outside runs. Sean Kelly and Seth Welsh especially had a number of nice tackles for loss to the outside. Seth Welsh was named the Ace Hardware player of the game....probably for his success in these plays.
I watched the highlights of the Norwayne/JM game and was impressed with Norwayne's offense and I think they will have some success on Kenton defense but will not have an anwer to stopping Kenton. The only way I see Norwayne keeping the game close is if Mauk is playing at less than 75% or if Kenton has multiple turn overs. After watching Kenton completely change their game plan against Hartley and Mauk running for 160+ yards, I just don't see Norwayne slowing Kenton down. The only way Kenton will be slowed down is by themselves.
In the end, I see Kenton winning 44-28.
