Of course Pac Man won. Mayweather says he wants to fight Pac Man...so no matter what Pac was winning that fight to try to set up that match.

It's all about the Benjamins. And the promoters will make a ton off Pac's fight with Mayweather.

"Don't thank god for that win, because God wouldn't choose the winner to make the linen of peoples' pockets happy"

Dude on the post fight show said that.

As long as Bob Arum has a say in the matter(and he pretty much has ALL the say) I doubt Pac/Mayweather is going to happen.

Pac constantly coming forward with no head movement at all for the second straight fight.................an actual welterweight who wanted to fight(which excludes Shane Mosley) would have KO'd Manny tonight.

Good thing Mayweather is a bitch and doesn't really want to fight. Maybe this matchup will happen after all...

LOL @ Mayweather being a bitch...

Mayweather will pick PacMan apart. PacMan doesn't want to fight PBF.

I now like PBF again after seeing that screwjob.

Pac threw around 140 more punches, but didn't land many of those. JMM was countering and landing some big shots.

Pac looked like a beaten man as the decision was being made... Hell, he looked like a beaten man from rounds 2-11

Yes he would. You should see people on twitter if you haven't already...

Benard Hopkins said PBF would destroy PacMan.

A lot of angry tweets lol.

It's obvious why PacMan won that fight....

It keeps the PBF - PacMan dream alive...

Boxing doesn't care about robbery or injustice. Too many politics in the sport.

Yes, PBF is a bitch. It was a pretty interesting move to call for the fight this close to Pac's fight against JMM. Maybe a little bit of mind fucking going on to throw Pac off his game. Looks like it worked...almost.

Think about it, PBF says he wants to fight Pac now and has a date and venue ready to go. Pac starts to look ahead. The ulterior motive is to get Pac off his game so JMM knocks him out so the Pac/PBF fight doesn't happen. Instead, Pac goes the distance, and the fight is rigged so that now PBF has to live up to his word.

I'm sure PBF will find a way to bitch out of the fight with Pac, AGAIN though. So don't worry PBF fans. You can still pretend that he's the greatest.

Oh my... From @realskipbayless
Please don't tell Mayweather, but Pacquiao such a boxing genius that he used that fight as a tuneup to lure Floyd into ring. Will HURT him.

LOL....

Your disdain for PBF is noted, I guess.

PBF dominated JMM. PacMan has now had 3 close fights, including 1 draw with JMM. So your theory is both inaccurate and asinine, given past results between the two.

Also, Pac has looked, I'll say, not so good in his previous 2 fights.

Seems like most of us here watched a UK feed?

I took a quick look at the boxrec chat forums and it seems that the people watching the HBO broadcast aren't upset with the decision.

Pac threw around 140 more punches?
Plus being the guy coming forward the whole night?

How many times have we seen the guy who was coming forward the whole fight and also was the guy who threw more punches come away with a close controversial decision?

Taylor/Hopkins fights........................Williams vs Margarito, Martinez and Lara........................Castillo/Casamayor................happens a lot.

It will be interesting to watch the HBO replay, sounds like they called a different fight than the UK guys did.

Nope. I hate boxing period. It's horribly rigged, and the fights are painfully boring anymore.

And PBF is a ducking bitch. So I really don't care about the sport.

But that theory sounds pretty solid if you ask me.

The british commentary was extremely biased, PAQ was the aggressor, threw more punches and landed more. I had it 7 to 5 but it was close. JMM countered well, but only really threw one punch counters and it looked like PAQ was the one taking the fight to him, which sways the judges a lot of the times.

^^^^Exactly.

More often than not most people's definition of a robbery in boxing is: the judges scorecards do not exactly match mine.

My feed sucked tonight, it looked to me like Marquez was winning(based on clean punching) but most of the rounds were close and the guy doing the stalking and throwing more punches always has a chance on the scorecards even if the other guy is the one landing the effective punches.
We've seen it many times..............doesn't happen EVERY time but if I'm watching a close fight and want to make a bet after the final bell, my money is going to be on the agressor even if I personally scored it for the other guy.
I would win that bet far more often than not.

Manny 176 of 578
JMM 138 437

Punch stats don't always tell the story but it's kind of funny that the people saying Marquez won their last fight were always using punch stats to back up their case.
Guess that have to let go of that argument now.

Doesn't much matter who you're fighting, if the other guy is throwing more, landing more and constantly coming forward you better score some knockdowns.

I didn't get to see it so I'll hold off on commenting on this fight til then instead of taking the word of PBF dick riders/PBF haters.

I will say this though.....if PBF is gonna destroy Pacman like some of you are saying....why the fuck hasn't Floyd signed the contract, whooped his ass and collected the biggest purse of his fucking career? Sounds like easy money to me.
