Back in the day, I dubbed the posters that I despised the most as "The 3 S's".........Society, Sage, and Sleeper.

Total tools, imo.

The first two are gone.

Hopefully, the last one will follow suit.

It's because of the freedom allowed by our military that cork suckers like sleeper can bash them. In other countries he'd be shot.

Find a real job. $86/month must be what you are worth, pretty sad.

Yesterday I heard an old vet on the radio make a good point. He said Americans need to stop using the word hero to describe every serviceman. Not all of them are heroes. Some come home bank robbers, thieves, rapists, Etc. All are veterans but not all are heroes. Let the US of A decide which ones of them are heroes. They get awards if so.

Your job doesn't make you a hero. A fry cook who pulls someone from a fire is a hero. A soldier who stalks a young girl and rapes her, afterward slaughtering her and her family is no hero. Are burger flippers heroes too?

I agree 100%. Over glorification of the military will ruin this country, and people don't even care. #smallminds

I think other things will lead to the ruin of the country before overglorification of the military will. Deficit spending, out of control debt, politicians.....these things will ruin the country.

If they didn't get paid, then I would give them all the praise in the world. They are doing a job they signed up for, just like any other profession.

So every other day we should not recognize these veterans? Noted.
Give them all the praise in the world if they didn't get paid? Are you serious?! These guys have to make a living too. Perhaps they should go protect our country for bread crumbs just to please you.

It's a good thing that they're fighting for something far bigger than your respect. Get a clue.

Why should I give someone praise for doing their job? That was the point. You must be in the military, because logic isn't your strong suit.

If that is the logic you want to go with then you also must agree that people shouldnt ever praise police officers, or firefighters, or a Dr.'s or pretty much anyone correct?
