I thought they were saying it was the first they've heard of McQueary contacting the police about the incident or him stopping it.

I think it is nice the way he chose a variety of colors to represent all the races. Very thoughtful.

Sheesh...the acting president of PSU is a former faculty member and veep who's been there for over 30 years, and the new acting AD is a former Trustee; now it's revealed there's a strong link between someone from Sandusky's foundation and money raised for the judge who set his bail.

Happy Valley is like one big inbred family.

You'd think given all the crap that's gone down, they would be finding folks from outside that genetic cesspool to put in positions of leadership -- especially if they're going to be doing an internal investigation.

Nothing you said about the Tressel case ended up happening and I would think you would learn your lesson but apparently not. Most sane people will wait for all the facts to come out before deciding to demonize someone.
What is out isn't true? You thinking all of the facts will come out makes you sound sophomoric. It's becoming apparent that Happy Valley's upper crust is similar to "Deliverance". Everyone is related to everybody else. Everyone owes someone a favor. Everyone has a boss, who who has a boss that has another boss and none of them have a set.

Now you're saying (and I paraphrase) "let's completely ignore a plausible explanation and crucify Joe Pa right now despite not hearing his side"

As far as I'm concerned, that's the only comparison that needs to be made, and it's a completely relevant one.

Also, this fact seems to be completely ignored...once Joe Pa was told, and he alerted his superiors, the authorities WERE called. The campus police didn't even question the GA who witnessed the crimes, and IMO that's on THEM for dropping the ball, not on Joe Pa. (and by dropping the ball, I mean most likely paid off by the PSU higher ups).

As long as someone in Happy Hole is keeping close tabs Sandusky. As long as Happy Hole remains unchanged. As long as Paterno's stature stays polished. As long as Franco Harris is the program's Muscle Man. As long as only a handful of young boys are sacrificed. As long as there are enough holes in Happy Hole for people to bury their heads. Everything will never come out.

He shouldn't be wearing a headset. That's the only relevant issue.
He hasn't worn a headset for 5 years.

Good I hope he does testify to the truth but he will also be cross examined something that hasn't been done to anyone yet. Tom Mesereau (Michael Jackson's lawyer) was on the O'Rielly Factor last night and brought up many very good points. I would suggest watching that interview.

SMH What are you saying here? That you hope on cross that all these boys will be proven to be frauds and none of this happened or people are just out for money?

I'm saying let due process take place, I am hoping for nothing other than letting the American Justice system run its course. What are you hoping for that due process should be set aside and Sandusky convicted without being able to defend himself in a court of law?

He also said he had no interest in taking the Sandusky case. He said it is MUCH easier to convince 12 people of Michael Jackson's innocence on the left coast as opposed to Sandusky in conservative middle America.

Actually thats not quite what he said. Here is the entire transcript of Mesereau on O'Reilly:

http://www.twitlonger.com/show/e7pa75

"Mesereau: You know, I have no interest in this case at the moment, but I do defend difficult cases. I believe in what criminal defense lawyers do, we make the system work, we defend people charged with crimes, who everyone has vilified and attacked, and yes, it’s a case I would consider taking, but it’s not a case that interests me right now."

Translation: "I can't win this case. Sandusky is more guilty than OJ. No one could get the acquittal."
