Just watched his film during lunch today. Dude is a beast.Writerbuckeye;1147279 wrote:It's also being reported elsewhere that Bosa will commit, perhaps as early as this weekend.
This class, small as it may be, is going to be very impressive.

Courtney Love will not be making the spring game. It's possible Kimbrough could get his offer this morning, which would be fine with me.
Should get at least two commits today/tomorrow. Bosa and Anzalone are likely, and I think big DT Maurice Hurst probably commits as well.

There is speculation that Courtney Love (LB) and Aaron Bailey (QB) are silent commits to Nebraska. Which makes sense since Bailey was strong on OSU/Neb but his decision to go to Nebraska becomes a lot easier with the Barrett commit.dat dude;1149262 wrote:Courtney Love will not be making the spring game. Figured it was coming. With Anzalone already committed to OSU and OSU taking a small class this year the writing was on the wall. Not enough room for him.Midstate01;1150062 wrote:Love committed to Nebraska
He had some nice offers (OSU, USC, Nebraska, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma). Nebraska has a nice pipeline going with the Pelini/Cardinal Mooney connection. 5 players from Mooney on their roster now.
I kind of expect Bailey to commit (officially) to Nebraska soon.

Per Twitter, Bosa is in.

Easily one of, if not the best, DL in the country. Just waiting for Bosa to go public, although its my understanding that the latest tweet was from a reliable source.bases_loaded;1150450 wrote:Per Twitter, Bosa is in.

Hurst had a great visit as well, but said OSU did not talk about him committing at this time. They told him he is still being evaluated. Still surprised they took Sprinkle's verbal so early.

Bosa plays with a definite chip on the shoulder, once he gets some weight room time in he will be an absolute beast.

Ohio State's defensive commits in 2012 & 2013 classes: (3) 5-star; (13) 4-star; (5) 3-star. In the next few years, could our defense rival that of our 2002 national championship team?

Time will tell, but it sure gives good reason to be very optimistic :thumbup:thePITman;1150747 wrote:Ohio State's defensive commits in 2012 & 2013 classes: (3) 5-star; (13) 4-star; (5) 3-star. In the next few years, could our defense rival that of our 2002 national championship team?

Maybe on the D-Line specifically but there's more to the defense than that. Let's see what Urban can do in regards to recruiting some linebackers...
and personally I thought that the 2005 defense was better than the 2002 defense. Not by a ton, but they were loaded with talent.
