For a guy Elliots size he is extremely quick and light on his feet.

Ohio State can do better than this guy. Really? We brought this scrub on? Players are lining up to play for Urban Meyer and we bring in an average RB that will never play.

Sorry, but I expect greatness with this hire. Mediocrity is for the SEC and Notre Dame, Ohio State is where champions play and win.

sleeper, I know you fancy yourself as having an eye for talent, but I've gotta' trust Coach Meyer's instincts when it comes to talent for HIS football team...just sayin'

Urban pulled out all of his tricks, so he must see something in him.

Good point. If Troy Smith can come out of nowhere and be one of the best QB's in college football history, so can a 2 star RB.

He's a 4* on scout and rivals. Hope this helps!

Not a running back per say, think Percy Harvin.

He doesn't look 6-0 200, but runs a 4.4. Meyer's number one goal this year was to find SPEED, another Percy Harvin.

Tell me, is he like Percy Harvin?

Elliott reminds me a lot of a former Florida running back/receiver hybrid. Can't think of his name to save my life though.

Close, but this guy is already in the NFL. I just wish Big Gain could help me out.

http://www.toledoblade.com/Ohio-State/2012/04/04/Irish-s-Thompson-switches-to-OSU.html
Thompson, a 6-foot-2, 182-pound free safety, committed to West Virginia on Feb. 2. After Meyer finished scrambling to secure his first class of recruits, Ohio State redoubled its efforts to land Thompson. OSU offered the Central junior a scholarship last month and Thompson committed after a campus visit over the weekend. He also had offers from Nebraska, Missouri, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Toledo, Bowling Green, and Buffalo.....
Thompson, ranked a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, said he expects to remain a safety at OSU -- and make his presence felt promptly. He said OSU co-defensive coordinator Everett Withers, who coaches the safeties, told him to "come in ready to play."

If he's a 4* on scout he's a 2* in reality. Look at Notre Dame for all you need to know about players who are highly rated and never pan out.

Look for OSU's next commitment (commitment #8) to come from Marcell Lazard.

[h=2]Catching Up with Laquon Treadwell: Unofficial Visit[/h]

What was the best part about your visit to Ohio State?

The best part was meeting Coach Meyer. It was an awesome experience. Another part I really liked was getting into the film room. I got to see the offense they plan on running there and got a different perspective on things. It's really different compared to watching on TV or even live at practice. I got to really understand everything that the wide receivers do in their offense, so that was cool.
Now that you got to see the offense they plan to run, what do you think of it?
They are going to run the spread and use the receivers a lot. They definitely plan to run the ball a bunch too, but they are giving receivers chances to make plays, especially going 1-on-1 with defenders. I really like that a lot.
What were the coaches saying to you about using you in the offense?
They were just telling me that they need help at wide receiver and that the receivers aren't where they want them to be yet to win a national championship. They told me they are going to bring in some play makers to help them get there and that they think I could be one of those play makers.
