Love it so far. Much more challenging than COD. Probably start campaign later.

There um, isn't a demo? Never was one either. There was a beta. Big difference between that and a demo though.
I'm installing the texture pack right meow.

Picked it up today.
Sadly, I'll only get to play it for a week, because then I'm going to be tied up in Uncharted 3 which looks like the best of the series, and that is saying something.

Not buying it for PC. Refuse to install Origin.
If it were on Steam, I'd consider it.

Origin isn't bad. I would prefer it on Steam as well, but I don't see it happening. Maybe you should start an online petition.

Couple of things about console version
- EA servers are still horrible. Matchmaking options and party system (squad) are horrible. Halo 2's social and matchmaking interfaces make this look outdated, and they came out in 2004. Good news is both these issues are fixable, bad news is EA has known about them since Battlefield 2 released on consoles and never bothered changing them.
- Yesterday the server crashed periodically throughout the day, presumably (hopefully) due to day one population and day one bugs.
- When you can get in the game is ridiculous. Absolutely gorgeous with the HD pack. The multiplayer maps are gigantic. Won't go too in detail with all of that considering most of you probably already knew all that. But I have to get one thing off...
- I was running down a grassy sort of hill on my first rush match and some kid in a fighter jet flew over my head about ten feet up, clipping a tree with his left wing and disintegrating in to pieces all in about 1.5 seconds. No way you replicate that experience with anything other than a Battlefield game in multiplayer. Between the new engine and the hard work put in to the sound which is as amazing as ever, prepare for a lot of instances that look nearly scripted in multiplayer.

My Amazon preorder was waiting for me when I got hom yesterday...
Loaded all of the updates, installed to the HD (360) then went on to play around 8pm...Connection problems....I tried for an hour, gave up, watch a movie, went to bed.
I will give it a go again tonight for a few hours, really looking forward to the multiplayer, I don't give a crap about the single player.
Seriously, though....Way too many games just came out or are coming out soon...I don't have the time.
Want to play the following when the price drops and I have more time: Deus Ex, Batman, Uncharted 3.
Where were all these games in the summer when there was absolute shit getting released?
Skyrim will own me for a few months, so forget all the other games.

Just running around Caspian Border is amazing. So many spots on that map to ambush the other team as they come to control certain points.
It's great to see a battles going on in the distance of a map, as explosions can be seen and gunfire can be heard from a good distance away. Especially witnessing the Jets and helicopters whiz by overhead.
Last night a guy in a fighter jet ejected just as the plane blew up ... I picked the bitch off midair and watched his lifeless body fall to the ground.
I also got owned by a tank when I was running through a building in another map.

Good news is I played all last night without any connection issues.
Bad news is that it has been a while since I have played a first person shooter game and I got absolutely destroyed.

I haven't had any issues on PS3.
The game is awesome. So much going on at one time, when you sit back and take it all in, its amazing.

It has 3x the amount of "stuff" going on in the PC version. 64 player battles.
