That was my initial thought, when I first heard the rumor about the turf. They might attract some playoff games.

They certainly have the seating capacity to host.

well after the administrations actions recently i dont see a single painting company donating to this cause, and i really dont blame them. campbell memorial has completely distanced itself from its alumni and campbell citizens in general, and the greek community definitely heard that loud and clear recently. i dont know how theyre going to raise the money but i doubt the main taxpayers in campbell will be contributing. when you turn your back on your own time and time again it will catch up to you eventually.

Watched Struthers lose a heartbreaker in bball the other night. Very good team and my man Sav who I have had the pleasure of knowing since third grade is an outstanding choice as head coach. He along with that generation and generations before them need to teach some of you younger Struthers people how to respect the rivalry a bit more. As for your younger Campbell people....well....we lost trying to teach them how to respect the rivalry years ago. In other words, you younger kids are a joke when it comes to the history of this rivalry. Except you Btrev, you impress me.

I have to say that the Campbell And Struthers rivalry is about 30% of what it use to be. back in the mid 80's and up is when i started to remember going to games!. And i use to paint up and bring banners with my boys Cochran and the rest. Its dead as far as I'm concerned. the game 2 years ago at Struthers was nice. it was a great game and was loud. And that was Away. We just dont bring it at home games. I have not lived in the Mahoning Valley for about 8 years now. and i only go by what i hear from close friends and family. But if Campbell ever wants to get the fans back in the stadium they better start to recognise what made the 50's to early 90's so special. the community supported the team. Some of the areas best ever played under the lights at John Knapick!!! And there is not one single name banner or team year shown. Its a complete shame. And its not like there is not people in the schools that cant make it happen. Im Sorry but there should big Azz banner someplace for everyone to see and be proud of. All the SVC MVC AAC State Playoffs. There should be retired jersey numbers. Do something that is unlike any small school stadium in the valley.

I was just saying. You singled out Spread at one point, but at other times you said "some people." If someone didn't take the time to read all 12 pages, or get to know me somewhat personally as you have, they might think that I was one of the ones who was talking crap. Just protecting my rep... calm down killer.

I agree about Sav. He's awesome. I haven't talked to him much, so I don't know him too well... he seems like a great guy though. And he's definitely a winner.

There is two Brothers coming back to Campbell also i heard. O'Dea played on special teams and can hit and tackle. I tried to say we lost some talent but that talent hurt us also. But we still have the bulk of each side of the ball back. We should be solid. There is a lot of team leaders this year.. There from what i hear correct me if I'm wrong. But unless we get some coming out this year there is only 5 or 6 seniors on this coming team from last year who started. I have said it many times that Campbell has a good future core for quite some years. Just got to keep the players home. Campbell should keep reloading not rebuilding. Wow been years since i heard that saying. We shall see how this year goes with No Ja'les as some have said to ride his tail. The only thing i seen was that it seemed we never used what worked against girard much last year. Sometimes Zetts makes me scratch my head.

Brandon Jackson, the older of the two, will be a junior. He could very well be in the starting backfield. He's quick. His younger brother is either a freshman or sophomore.
