Never ceases to amaze me how some use these sites to run their mouths rather than to talk shop about the season, or upcoming season. Someone always has to stir the pot and usually its the guy who if we were all sitting around a table in person would shut his damn mouth the entire time.
Our QB had a bad game against Struthers but trust me he is a very good athlete as is Muntean for Struthers and the RB Stewart. Like that kid alot. We have a core coming back that I guess everyone just overlooks and in my opinion you can have 90% of last years seniors because they are the sole reason for the mess at the end. Campbell has been back to the playoffs two of the last three yrs and really had no business not making it three yrs in a row after winning their second straight AAC title. I want to see how this very good group of underclassmen rebound against what I think will be a good Struthers team. I'm not going to be an idiot like some and start predicting everyone that will beat Struthers. Like you have a clue.
I'd like you to point out where I last posted anything that could possibly be conceived as me running my mouth.
Fact is... you won't find anything, because I was over it months ago, and I haven't even posted anything about it since November.
I might be guilty by association... hey, they're both Struthers guys so they're both in on it... but next time you want to call someone out on something, leave me out of it (unless I have it coming, of course). I actually think I've been pretty good about staying on point and being respectful.
I have too much respect for Coach Zetts and Coach Sikora, and I'm not so much of a self righteous arrogant punk, that I'm going to bash an entire community like that... especially since Struthers hasn't exactly been much to brag about of late, not in football at least. That's not a shot at Spread, it's just me. Spread can do his own thing, and I'm not gonna hold it against him.
Yeah, Struthers beat Campbell in 2011 and knocked them out of the playoffs. They brought the trophy back to Struthers. That's something to celebrate, be proud of, and it'll be talked about for years... and it should be. Nostalgia does have it's place.
The saying goes, "you're only as good as your last game." Struthers looked pretty good, and showed some potential. Campbell... not so much.
But is it something to dwell on? I don't think so.
Time to move forward. 223 days...
