No implications regarding the above poster, but "The Cherry Cricket" sounds like a a gay bar....

To go mom and pop route I like the Gahanna Grill in Gahanna, OH...haven't been there in awhile so don't know if the quality is still there. Then in Florida they have the Ale House, its a chain but they got good food there period

Thurman's.
Also, Bernard's in the short north is advertising the Jucy Lucy. I am going to have to try it.
Also like Max & Erma's.

For fast food, Five Guys is the best. But, In-n-out in California is great. Have to get the double-double. It's what a big mac should be.
Ate at City Pub (sister restaurant of City Grille) in Denver this past weekend. Thanks for the recommendation, awesome burger.

The best are the single owned places. I couldnt tell you the names of the places, but I have had some delicious burgers while traveling the country. It also helps that I am usually starving when I stop on a trip lol. I do know I had a Jucy Lucy visiting my buddy in Minny. Fucking amazing. That probably stands out the most. A few places in Chi were great and SanFran. I cant think of the name, but some place in the middle of Iowa had a tremendous burger.

The best Fast Food burgers for me:
-5 Guys
-In 'n Out Burger
-Whataburger

There is a place in santa Monica called the library ale house. It's a gastropub. They make delicious burgers. They don't let you modify them either.

Haven't read through this thread at all, but Texas has some mighty fine burger joints.

- Whataburger
- Jack in a Box
- Fuddruckers
- Toro Burger (was rated #4 burger in Texas last year)
