I guess when I cook a hamburger, I like no bright pink like I just took it out of the packaging.

I actually am not very impressed with Terry's Turf Club. Arthur's is my favorite in Cincinnati.

I like Arthur's, too. I like Zip's a little more than Arthur's, actually. Gordo's makes a great burger. I also need to try Quatmann's in Norwood.

Cold or do you heat it up in a skillet?

Thurmans is excellent.

If anyone is in Minneapolis, you HAVE to go to Matt's Bar and get a Jucy Lucy. Nothing like it!

I think Five Guys is overrated. It's just an expensive burger with undercooked, greasy fries. I like Red Robin's burger choices, but like Five Guys, it's a bit expensive.

The burger in question looks very unevenly cooked, the outside looks medium well, the left looks medium and the right part under the bacon looks uncooked.

I found the best way to cook them is on a Char-Broil (Infra)Red grille. I will not eat them cold.

Reps for spelling Jucy Lucy correctly. Love those things and almost always have one when I'm back in town. That, and a pitcher of Premium, makes for a good lunch.

I have a hard time believing that chain restaurants like 5 Guys and Red Robin etc, are better than the single entity unique 'mom and pop' places.

Some chains start out with the intent of being chains. Others are just really good 'mom and pop' places that end up becoming chains. 5 Guys fits into the latter category. A chain does not have to be synonymous with "meedy oaker".
