Mine finally shipped, 1.7lbs, delivery scheduled Saturday. That's big enough for a letter :)

The preliminary "out of the door" weights are usually complete guesses. Let it pass through a few sort facilities to determine whether or not it is actually the correct weight.

That post office blows. My apartment even had an office for missed deliveries to be left at, but while UPS and FedEx could both handle it, it was a little beyond USPS' grasp and I ended up having to go down there pretty much every quarter to pick up my rented books.

No kidding. I dread going down there.

I ordered some network switches and they shipped USPS. It went as follows:

1. Shipped via Fedex Smartpost (8/1) (fedex carries it most of the way, then tenders to USPS at local post office)
2. Arrives at local USPS post office (8/8)

I haven't checked woot.com on this, but maybe someone here has an idea. I bought 2 flip video cameras, and one doesn't work... at all. Is woot good about refunding, or are all sales final?

They have a return policy. They're pretty good about it.
