Good choice. He has been very successful managing in the minors. Good to see he finally gets a shot after all those years.

The guy was an excellent 3rd baseman and he had a very good career.....but most know him for one stupid stupid decision......he's lucky Nolan was over 40.

Had 34 HR and 120 RBI to finish 6th in MVP voting in 1999
