yeah, fair food is pricey, yesterday I went to the Swiss festival on my lunch and dropped 14 bucks on a lemonade, cheese stick and a steak sandwich.

Love the lemonade shakeups but they can be inconsistant. Sometimes ya get a great one, other times they are not so good.

They have to make a killing on those fried goodies. Think it was like 5 bucks for deep fried oreos.....5 oreos!

Elephant ears..........funnel cakes...........even burgers and such taste better at festivals!

Same here. I save up all year for the Fairfield county fair (Starts Oct. 19) because of how much money i drop on food.

OMG...just the thought of this conjures up supreme epicness. Don't eat them anymore but when I did I could make a full meal out of Buckeyes alone.

Where did you get the lemonade from? It's likely I made it for you.

I was in the fry/lemonade stand with the gyro stand to my left and a stand that had coffee/hot chocolate and ice cream to my right. I don't remember where the Derossi stand was. Though I'm sure it was one of our stands since I think we were the only lemonade people there and we had a few stands.

Actually I think that stand might have been two to my left. Where was it in relation to the building that had the wine tasting and such inside and the Ladies restrooms on the outside?

well, I walked in from the rides area and DiRussos was the last stand on my right....clear at the end. I was passed the little pavilion where the band sets up.

I was on that side of the pavillion as well. Do you remember a dude wearing a Manchester United jacket? Because that'd been me. (Soccer people, no I don't like Man U. I'm a Chelsea fan but the jacket was $1 and is really nice).

Speaking of epic festival foods. Schmidt's Sausage Haus has a stand at this years Woosterfest. I am headed there right now for a couple of Bahama Mamas.
