I never actually new they weren't the effers until my track team made regionals 3 years ago....held at their facility. My sister's team played them in basketball district finals and the word was that they were the Colonial Knights.....which doesn't make much sense ....but a good atmosphere!

Maybe worse would be student athletes at Portsmouth Middle School....they go to PMS and are the Trojans.

Since there were two middle schools in Portsmouth back in my day, it was McKinley and Grant, so MMS and GMS. Now, together, it is Trojan Middle School (TMS)

Yeah, yeah I have heard all the Trojans jokes, but hey, we never break under pressure.
