Has anyone used Listia? Thoughts, comments, etc?

Seems like it is somewhat of a trading site...you post stuff to give away, people bid on it using points and then you get those points to bid on other stuff.

The only thing I haven't figured out yet is if you only do it in your area or if you do it nationally and pay shipping....or if the winner pays the shipping. I haven't read deep enough to understand it fully.

Also, how does the site make money? Only on ads, or are there hidden costs?

Any info people have is welcome.

Once you run out of 'credits' you have to purchase more before you can bid on anything. I'm not a fan of any auction site where I have to pay to play.
