Merged into a not-so-superconference. Would the Big XII take Cincy over WVU? I ask because most of the things I've read recently mention WVU and Louisville, but no Cincinnati. A potential Big 12 North of Cincy, L'ville, ISU, Kansas, Kansas St. and Oklahoma (for balance) and a Big 12 South of Okie St., Texas, TT, Baylor, TCU and BYU is workable.
This new Big East doesn't deserve an automatic BCS bid in football, and any football tv contract is going to be crap.

WVU brings so little to the table in terms of an overall sports program, academics and television market that Cincy would seem to be more attractive, WVU brings a strong home following in football and that is about it, Cincy trumps in all other categories.
