I'm in the market for a new MBP and I want 8gb of RAM. Through Apple its $200 and $53 from Crucial.com

I'm trying to decide if I should buy Macbook w/standard 4gb and upgrade once I receive it or bend over and shell out the extra $200 to Apple.

I've upgraded my current Macbook's RAM from Crucial and its been fine, but I'm not sure if I want to crack open a brand new laptop to swap out the cards.

You can't just pop them out from the battery compartment on the new MBPs...correct?

You should shell out the 2 hundo, then buy the one from the website. Then switch it out.
