How old is your FAIL picture? Here is a link to NFL players per state with or w/o % per capita and more info. Your pic proves Ohio is on the decline.

It's tiered like this, in my opinion:

Texas, California, Florida

Ohio, Georgia, Pennsylvania

Louisiana, New Jersey, Alabama, Illinois, Michigan

Louisiana has more NFL players than Ohio.

Edit based on that pick I'm wrong maybe its per capita I'm thinking of.

Also, I'm surprised to see Michigan on the list. Never knew they produced that much talent.
So you want to compare an entire conference to one team and look at just one year? Seems like a fair sample size and comparison to me.

Its from September 26, 2010. Only a year old.

Wasn't trying to make any point, so ease up. Anytime anything about a southern state gets mentioned, here comes SOS to slurp it all up. smh

I wouldn't sat OSU is much more or much less talented than they were years past. Obviously they are lacking a competent QB. But if Pryor were back this year, they are a top 10 team.

Really? They have less talent at WR, QB, LB corp, special teams and arguably in the defensive backfield. They are also really, really inexperienced and young. As Krambman said above, you can't compare the talent on one team (Ohio State) and then use an entire conference (SEC) as the other comparison and be taken seriously.

OSU year after year has the best recruiting classes in the Big 10. I'm watching this LSU defense and it's insane how much bigger and faster they are across the board.

BTW the most talented LB on OSUs team barely plays. Shazier is a stud and I don't know why the staff is so sold on Klein.

I said it on the LSU thread, but OSU needs to take a hard look at the LSU defensive coordinator.

Just fire and get rid of this joke of a HC and staff now. Can't keep going back to 14 when things don't go well with #5. The other two guys at QB can't be any worse.

OSU needs to find a farm to get a donkey and have him replace the entire coaching staff. That way there is only one Jackass running this team instead of a dozen or so.

He should be HC at D2 level before landing a gig like this. You cannot appoint someone with no HC experience as HC of one of the biggest programs in the universe. I understand JT put them in this predicament, but it's not going to end well for OSU and Fickell and company.

And the media needs to start asking Fickell the tough questions such as, "Why, why, why do you insist on going to Joe Bauserman, a proven failure at QB, when have you two other guys sitting on the bench?"

Fickell is definitely in over his head but at the same time Braxton Miller is the biggest Vagina I have ever seen... Get back in the game you pussy!

It's hard to believe no media member in Columbus will ask Fickell any tough questions. They need to let Common Man and the Torg interview him post game.

There is no excuse for not having already played Guiton and Graham IN GAMES.

This team has absolutely nothing to lose, and one of those players could surprise them. I have no doubt whatsoever, that both would play better than Bauserman.

Yet here we are.

This has been reason enough to tell Fickell he's not fit (or apparently smart enough) to be a head coach.

Okay, let the talk begin again.

What a demoralizing loss today. I don't know if they will even bounce back from this one. Can they beat Penn St. or Michigan?
