Great points, but there is no way they trade Brantley and Choo. I too really like Hannahan and would like to see him back with us. I think this off-season, they need to Target a right handed outfielder and a corner infielder who is right handed. Fuk, Choo, Brantley, Sizemore, Carrera There's a problem here....ALL lefthand hitters. I would not be surprised to see Choo or Brantley traded and either Fuk or Sizemore let go...although Shapiro seemed to hint that the Tribe WOULD pick up Sizemore's option. Both third basemen are also left handed. Chisenhall is the heir apparent, but the Front office also likes Hannahan. The favorite for 2B next year is ALSO left handed(Kipnis). The team desperately needs a power right handed stick. I think a trade will be made in the offseason, and it may involve some of our favorite players.
I don't know if Fuk can go to arbitration or not....or how that works. Just saying that he, right now, is the highest paid player on our roster. Is he worth that? LOL. Fuk is not going to cost a fortune. He's on the last year of his mega deal with the Cubs. He's 34, going on 35. He'll be had for cheap. He's a solid hitter, but offers little in terms of power.
