This thread reminds me of the trash talk some Reds fans were doing leading up to our first series before we swept them. Things like "The Indians don't have staying power" etc, etc.. And how good the Reds are/would be.

Link? Not calling you a liar, but most of the noise was coming from the Cleveland side if I remember correctly

Ehh I mean you really weren't that far off base imo, I don't particularly like the Reds but I certainly thought they would be contending for the NL Central this year.

I thought the Tribe was going to be one of the worst teams in baseball this season, I expected to be 100 loss season.

I don't see any crying from me. I was just basically pointing out how funny it was that at the beginning of the year, me and one or two of the Indians fans were talking about how the team was going to be solid and that they had some nice young talent while everybody else was talking about how they werent going to support the team and that the team was terrible. Then poof, the team started winning and all of those who abandoned ship started puffing out their chests and talking a bunch of noise about beating the Reds in a meaningless May series.

That was the extent of what I was saying. I could care less though really. I'm able to take the emotion out of things.
