IMHO some of the OSU fans were too happy to have this story break, but the non-OSU fans are taking it to another level.

I agree that some of this shit is probably false, but what's true is still likely to be more damning than anything that OSU was even accused of. Especially if there is proof that any of the coaches were involved or knew anything. Either way, I'm happy that the microscope is off of OSU, not happy that another program was breaking rules and will likely get in trouble. I just want fair reporting on these things and we're not getting it from anyone. Yahoo, ESPN, or any of the other media outlets have devoted 95% of their time to these 2 scandals, with several way more important (IMO) scandals getting overlooked.

That is why I don't think it'll even be on the table for Miami (even if the NCAA wasn't gun shy about that particular penalty). It was never about how much they gave or for how long they were giving it. It wasn't even about who was involved (President, AD). It was entirely about already being on probation and being caught again. Miami is going to get hammered, but it is still only one case.
