Only ones I've ever liked was Ironman and The Dark Knight. Will this trend ever end? Discuss.

I hope it doesn't end. I enjoy them...some more than others.

They are entertaining. There's only a few that I am not a huge fan of: Daredevil (blame Ben Affleck), Ghost Rider (blame Nic Cage), a couple of the Spiderman and X-Men movies, and possibly a couple more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

I grew up reading comic books, don't know if you did or not...but it's just a bit cool to see those comic book heroes on the big screen now.

No. Comic-book based movies are here to stay. There is simply too much money to be made [in them]. Comic-book based movies that were very good include:

Dark Knight
Batman Begins
Spider-Man
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
The Fantastic Four
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
The Punisher
Superman Returns
Thor
X2

Now... by "good," I mean entertaining. Someone of the above (i.e., Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Iron man) were impeccable movies.

Point being... they're here, and they're here to stay.

They'll be around, but I'm getting bored with most of them. The only upcoming one I will likely see in theaters is Dark Knight Returns. The last "new" one I saw was Ironman 2, on Netflix streaming. It was bad compared to #1.

One? :)

I love them. I even liked Daredevil. Some of them kinda suck, but they are entertaining for me.

I like them, but it is definitely getting ridiculous with all these reboots. They rebooted the hulk, they are rebooting spiderman, and they are also rebooting superman. GTFO. Hollywood is losing originality day by day.

These aren't comics, but I would like to see movies made based off video games. Call me a nerd, but I think the God of War series would make a great trilogy if done right.

I've always wanted to make a good Silent Hill or Resident Evil movie. The games are already written perefectly for the big screen and hollywood finds some way to fuck it up.

I haven't seen Thor yet, but really would like to. I haven't seen Green Lantern yet either (I despise Ryan Reynolds).

I forgot to include The Green Hornet, while it was an entertaining movie...it was definitely not a "Green Hornet" movie. Seth Rogan was a bad choice. And the Green Hornet was not even the main character in the movie. It would be an enjoyable movie if they hadn't said it was "the" Green Hornet.

Thor wasn't a bad movie. It was entertaining. Green Lantern was ok also. Green Hornet was horrendous.

Yeah, number one: I got screwed on the movie ticket (thought it was going to be regular and ended up having to watch it in 3D). Number two: how can they think that was a good movie based on Green Hornet?! It was an entertaining movie by itself, but it was nowhere close to being a Green Hornet movie!

I'll look at Thor in the near future, hopefully I can see it soon.

We forgot the Transformers movies...I love them all. I have a soft spot for Optimus...:/.

I refuse to watch that last GI Joe movie. It's not technically a comic book movie, but Jumper reminded me of a comic book -- I thought the movie was good, something different. I also haven't seen any of the Hellboy movies (how many are there anyway?). I think League of Extraordinary Gentlemen fell short, but I still own it. Punisher was one of my favorites. A couple classics that I enjoy: The Rocketeer and The Crow.

I caught Green Hornet at the drive in at the beginning of Spring. I got about 30 minutes in and left. Just didn't find it that entertaining personally. Seth Rogen is generally good for some laughs but not in this. Well for me. I can't speak for others. There have been 2 Hellboy flicks and they have both been alright. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen wasn't bad. I didn't know it was a comic book though. I didn't mind the first Punisher but didn't care much for the 2nd.

Yeah but you also tear apart every movie that other posters say are "entertaining" (which they are) so your opinion means jack.

V for Vendetta is an AMAZING movie. But I don't consider it a comic based movie (even tho it really is).

V for Vendetta, Watchmen, and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are all written by the same guy. As well as, From Hell.

I don't like re-boots either, but I thought the re-boot of the Incredible Hulk was much better than the original. Of course, it was not that difficult to put together something better than the first go around.

Batman series, X-men series and Ironman have been the best IMO.

+100000000000000000000000. Resident evil could be a good horror movie. But instead...
