Yeah, I'm not usually too intrigued by remakes or reimaginings but based on the first trailer, I'm pretty interested.

Couple of updates on some Stephen King Movies that I found interesting.

Dark Tower is only 95 min. Isn't that like one long ass fucking book series? How can they possibly do justice in that short of time?

IT remake is 2 hours. The original was well over 3, I'm interested to see how they manage that. Going to have to cut some stuff for sure.

Those are valid points. Dark Tower has a 21 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and sometimes the rating goes down even more after a movie is widely released.

As far as IT goes, I'm guessing this will be the kid part and they will announce the filming of the adult part soon after.

Dark Tower looks horrendous. Thank the Lord it's not 2 hrs, for whoever has to suffer through it lol.

Also watched Passengers last night. Liked it more than the reviews made me think I would.

From what I read, they just basically took certain elements of the seven books and mashed them together. Sounds appalling.

Not your average Hollywood flick: My father was showing me his latest copy of the Polish-American Journal, an article about Jack Black starring as Jan Lewan in "The Polka King", which debuted at the Sundance Festival earlier this year.

I'd never heard of Lewan before, but apparently he carved out quite a niche for himself in the U.S. polka world before causing many folks to lose money in Ponzi scheme and ending up in jail in 2004.

Supposedly sold to Netflix - not sure if any theater distribution is in the works.
