It's pretty funny. I thought it was funnier than the first one, which says a lot for me.Fab4Runner;1678166 wrote:Mantooth and I are seeing Horrible Bosses 2 tomorrow. I am super pumped.

Doesnt look bad.REmemer when teh first one came out and it was amazing, then the other ones sucked the big one.hangonsloopy;1678550 wrote:
Is this sort of a reboot of the franchise and trying to make it relevant again?

Critics reviews of comedies especially mean little to me. For example Anchorman has a 9 percent lower rating on Rotten Tomatoes than the sequel and I almost left the theater during it. Judging by the previews for HB II, it appears to be funny.wes_mantooth;1678842 wrote:Cannot wait for this one to be in a theater near me. I take most reviews from experts to be shit. They are movie snobs.bigdaddy2003;1678854 wrote:Critics reviews of comedies especially mean little to me. Read a review from some JO this week regarding Sons of Anarchy. He lambasted it.
Then said he watched 20 minutes of the episode and it was the first time he had ever seen the show which is in its 7th season.

HB 2 was great. Laughed a ton, especially at Charlie Day.
D&D To was absolutely horrible. On par with the prequel.

Foxcatcher was a great movie. I knew bits and pieces of the story growing up as a wrestler, but I did not know DuPont was that fucked up. Great acting all around. Ruffalo is spot on with Dave Schultz and Carell was amazing as DuPont. Both actors should be in the running for an Oscar. Channing Tatum surprisingly did a good job too. I guess he is more talented than the roles we think of him as. He could be a sleeper nomination for an Oscar, but I doubt it. Some of the story was compressed, so if you like the movie I recommend getting the book that just came out. I am about 3/4 done and it ties some of the loose ends and explains things that happened in the movie.
If you are a wrestler and follow the sport, you will notice some cameo appearances from some great wrestlers (Herbert, baumgartner, etc). I am not sure if refman posts on this forum, but he posts on yappi and posted on jj to give his perspective as a wrestling referee. He also makes a cameo appearance.

[Supposedly] The 10 Best Movies You Missed in 2014...
Honestly, the only one on that list that I had heard of / had any remote interest in seeing was John Wick. And even that I wasn't too sure about after seeing the previews. Any thoughts on this list? Anyone seen any of these films?

The Wedding Ringer is absolutely hilarious. Blew Horrible Bosses 2 out of the water IMO. Def try to catch it when it comes out in Jan.
