Definitely one of the top movies on my list for this past year. I highly recommend seeing it. Lincoln... eh... not my thing/type of movie. Sure Daniel Day-Lewis' acting was stellar, but it was really just too dry, no action, and too 19th Century for me (yes, I know... what did I expect, right?).
If anyone cares, here's my top list for 2012 movies.
Note: Skyfall isn't on the list because I, unfortunately, never made it out to see it.
You can feel free to tear apart this list and say (so-and-so movie isn't on there?) but that's probably because I didn't get a chance to see it. All of these movies I actually saw. Some of them might be slotted a spot or two too high/low, but in general, I think I tend to agree with my listing. Who knows, maybe if given more thought, or if some of the older movies were more recent, maybe they would be higher.
