Do you listen to talk radio?

While at work, via iheartradio, I listen to:

7am-9am:
104.7 FM WPGB (Pittsburgh)
Quinn and Rose

9am-Noon:
1150 AM WIMA (Lima,Oh)
Glenn Beck

Noon-3pm:
104.7 FM WPGB
Rush

3pm-6pm:
104.7 FM WPGB
Sean Hannity

I listen a little when I can on News/Talk WRSC 103.1 FM and News/Talk 970 AM WBLF in State College.

On 103.1 I'll catch a little Beck and Ingraham in the morning. Some Rush at Lunch on AM 970. A bit of Sean Hannity (103.1) or Mike Gallagher (970) on my drive home and some Mark Levin in the evenings if I'm out and about on 103.1.

When I'm not listening to talk radio, I tune in to State College's ESPN Radio 1450 so I can listen to the morning guys bitch about how "Ohio State is getting off aesy", blah, blah.... :D

Quinn has been doing a nice job for a long time --- it was nice to see him break through in the last few years and get to satellite etc....

Political talk radio, yes.

If we count sports radio as talk, it's not nearly as bad.

No, I don't. In my car, I listen to podcasts from The Economist, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal.

The only people who listen to talk radio are lunatic, right-wing, fringe nutjobs.

So anyhow, I listen to a little Quinn & Rose in the mornings, usually on the replay from 9-noon on 640 WHLO. I mix in a little sports talk to break things up (850 WKNR), then catch some of Hannity's show on the drive home. His show usually has the best guests, but he can be scatterbrained at times- I think he's spread a little too thin between radio & TV. I really enjoy Mark Levin's show on 640 (evenings 6-9), but if I miss the live show I catch the replay at my convenience on his website.

Thanks for the plug. Listening to POLITICAL talk radio is like going to the strip club. Their job is to tell you lies and take your money, entertainment value is not quite the same in my book. Plunderbund is free and entertains, and often first to report news. Go ahead and bang them all you want, but more watchdog sites like this are needed. Their motivation is informing people. Talk radio is motivated by selling commercial space to idiots who actually believe they are well informed. Follow the money fish and see the light if you can, but I doubt it.

Dennis Miller, Mark Levin, Michael Savage. Tunein Radio on my android. Quinn is good too but its on during the Dan Patrick show.

It's not even a lie, it's just items twisted and stretched around to pander to which ever group of sheep they are aiming to amuse. They can't get away with flat out lies, so they just fuck with the truth so much that you can't recognize it.

But these shows aren't meant to be a source of news. It's a long distance, toll free circle jerk for the target audience.

I am sorry I hurt your feelings about your blog site. Notice I said probably. Whether they have more or less traffic than JJhuddle was not the point. Web traffic fluctuates. The point I was making is plunderbund is minor league. Just like JJhuddle and OC. Your not going to get wealthy ranked where they are at. Just like talk radio there are minor league talkers that don't have the ratings and they are not basking in the wealth either. By the way I have listened to talk radio for over 20yrs and never paid a dime. Wealth comes with industry ratings or rankings. Then comes the add revenue.

No...they do in fact lie. As in out and out whoppers. At least Rush Limbaugh does. He is a disgrace....anyone that listens to him should go see a shrink. What a baffoon...and one who truly bastardized the thinking of the right wing.....who used to have their schit together.
