So essentially ESPN might as well just have said "I'd like to see all emails, memos, documents, letters, between any and all players, coaches, mentors, staff over the past 20 years". The request is laughable and lazy on ESPNs part.

I think what se-alum means is that people tend to group fans together and judge them as a whole. He doesn't want to be judged based on your ridiculous actions. I don't either.

I don't get the Auschwitz reference. Unless you are trying to say the Nazis wanted to judge all the Jews just because they were Jews. But that doesn't really make any sense because he's asking not to be judged the same because you're both OSU fans.

After all this apparently ESPN decided to give Ohio State their wins back, and they even credited them with going 11-1 in the Big Ten in 2010.
