This is a huge series. CC needs to Revert back to his June form. Ozzie blasted his team after yesterday's loss to KC. Pretty much said they aren't a good team right now and are playing with no energy. We'll see how they respond to this. He's done this many times in the past, and they've responded by going on a streak. Hope this is different.

Also, I believe Kipnis will see some time in the OF as well as spelling OC at 2nd base. They didn't bring him up to play once or twice a week.

Agreed he didn't come up to sit but I think he'll play almost everyday at 2nd with OC moving to the bench and facing tough lefties.

Can't keep letting 2-3 people on base every inning and not have it bite you in the ass eventually.

Tribe is back to their non offensive ways.

Chicago owns us.

Yep. This is where the "slide" begins as the front office firmly inserts their thumb in their anus'.

It would be a terrible mistake by the FO to waste this bullpen and solid SP by not making a move for a bat.

Another dynamite showing by the tribe offense against one of the best pitchers in the history of baseball.

Gavin Floyd is one of those guys that pitches like Cy Young against us and Homer Pyle against everyone else.

You mean offensive ways?

Took the wifey to a movie tonight. Saw the Tribe score as many runs during the movie as I would have had I watched game. Glad I skipped it.

nice to hear this morning on the radio that Buster Olney is reporting that the Tribe has no intentions of making a deal before the deadline. Fucking organization is a joke if this is true.

Just as I suspected. They covet these shitbags in their farm system like they're gold. Most of them turn out to be "Marte's."

I'm sure we'll get the "this team played way above expectations" and "the plan was to contend in 2012-2013" bullshit as an excuse. Dolan will lose this fan base and it's WELL deserved. This will be at least the THIRD time he's pulled this shit.

I enjoy you guys leaving them down here. Clippers are like 13 games up in their divison and there is a lot of talent here that prob could help the Indians or at least make good trade bait.

I'm not even talking about AAA. They may have some talent pan out from that level but acquiring a Ludwick or Willingham is likely going to take only an A or PTBNL prospect. I have no idea why they think these guys (A level) are "gold." The likely scenario is that this team WON'T make a move, will miss the playoffs, and will end up being the 2011 team we all "expected" in 2012 (shitty) just like what we saw in 2006 & 2008, rinse, repeat.

Agreed.

Dolan is a pussy and won't want to take on any extra salary even if it only means giving up marginal prospects.

Why should we make a trade? We have players like Choo and Sizemore who will come off the DL and lead us to the playoffs. Or have you guys not been paying attention? LaPorta and Santana will also both hit .350 over the last 2 months.

If Sizemore came off the DL before the trade deadline I'd listen to deals involving him.
