Anyone else looking forward to this movie? My wife was giving me some major shit for being excited for it. She loves Independence Day so I told her that it's really no different than that. Her response is that "modern" aliens weren't around in the old West. SMH.

I think it looks interesting. Daniel Craig usually delivers as well.

When my wife makes comments like this i just say, "Dumb Girl". I get punched for it but she undestands.

This will be the biggest Summer hit of '11. We haven't had a great Summer film since The Dark Knight, and we've had to put up with the mediocre (Iron Man 2...ugh) and the banal (Avatar).

It could be INCREDIBLE. I have always wanted to see a superhero not set in today's environment. They cannot show enough Nazi soldiers being destroyed.

But in a good way, when a movie is so bad a 10 year old tells you it is terrible - that is something special. Wild Wild West is in Batman and Robin territory.

Don't think it would get quite as much "hype" if Harrison Ford wasn't in it. I have my doubts, but will probably see it.

I'll probably see it as well. It has solid actors in it, good action from the trailers. Based on the title it doesn't take itself too seriously which can be fun (see Machete, Snakes on a Plane).

I thought it looked pretty good in the previews, but I think that was during the first harry potter deathly hallows movie. I can't believe they've been hyping it that long.

Jon Favreau - director
Spielberg - executive producer

Plus a decent cast. I'd guess it will be decent to good and that is on the entertainment level. I don't know how good of an actually movie it will be. Just trying not to confuse you guys that have branded me.

I just do not think this looks/will be that great of a movie. But with the cast they have Im sure it will still be decent. I might even like it but from the previews and all it just isn't too appealing to me. Oliva Wilde I would do dirty dirty things to her and she will make this movie worth the 7 bucks I will spend even if it does suck.

Fathobbit I agree its crazy they have been hyping this movie for over a year now that could also be why I'm so turned off by it haha.

Justin I don't think so the Captain America movie looks fucking badass.

I was going to comment that this movie looks like a failure...but those guys alone make me want to check it out. Had no idea they were behind this.

Yes. I'm not that excited about Captain America. The Marvel films haven't been that great lately. I haven't seen Thor but watched Iron Man 2 again a couple nights ago - good grief that film sucked.
